  1. That's not how @Codraroll proposed his idea though. The way I understand it is that the cars are actual objects that can move staff from one place to another to let them work there. I'm imagining this as a car that is patrolling the park, sometimes a few handymen get out to clean some stuff, and when they are done they get back in, to travel to the next spot where they can clean. For mechanics this would also be really cool. Having some place in the park where they relax, and whenever there is a call the mechanics will use one of these cars to get there fast, or when they want to inspect a ride. Needless to say I like this idea very much, but indeed as Ziscor said, this will be a lot of work, and will not be compatible with RCT2 saved games. But it's definitely something that we can look at later!
  2. What do you mean with this? Right now it is able to change the area just like the land, water and scenery removal tools. It also displays a grid on the landscape.
  3. Instead of removing them, I think it's better to just make these path bits not vandalizable .
  4. What build are you using?
  5. I'm actually working on a cluster tool that makes the player able to change the size of the area in which to place objects, and the likeliness of placing them. Setting it to 100% would place the scenery on each surface inside the area.
  6. Hello, welcome to the forums! Seems like you like to build parks together, maybe you're interested in joining the group parks here?
  7. The railings are separate from the paths. As far as I know there is no space left in the path_elements to store this bit for when it's rendered, or only for normal paths (non queue). I remember there being one bitflag for when a path should have a ride banner, but I don't know for sure if this bit has a purpose for normal path. If it doesn't, then this bit could be used for normal paths. I think @Gymnasiast has tried to achieve this two or three months ago. If I remember correctly he was able to hide all fences, but not have it per path piece as an option.
  8. It is a problem, a bad design problem. A good coaster doesn't shouldn't get bored over time, at least not to the point no-one wants to ride it anymore.
  9. There are plans for dragging paths and scenery to make this easier, I think that's also a better approach than having it inside the path editor.

One new ride: A Ladybug's Flight Other things I did: Merged three very nearby rapid river rides together, clearing up two ride entries of which I used one Decorated the second entrance somewhat more with a few more trees and fences Changed a few patrol areas at places where handymen were needed Placed more benches, bins and lanterns around the park Claimed: - Next In Line: @imlegos, jensj12, Broxzier Missed Turn: Enner, UTMAN, Wuis, Squab, Przemek, WobblyRails, Racey, qbbq, Wuis, Philmon11 Community Park V2.92.sv6
  11. Perhaps there is a custom ride for this already. I don't think we should be changing the original game's assets for these kinds of things.
  12. Aha! Now I finally understand what their goal for RCT World is!

Alright, I'll claim it tomorrow then (about ~10 hours from now), feel free to work on it if you can do it within that time. Edit: Claiming it now. Claimed: Broxzier Next In Line: imlegos, jensj12 Missed Turn: Enner, UTMAN, Wuis, Squab, Przemek, WobblyRails, Racey, qbbq, Wuis, Philmon11
  14. You know there is a giga screenshot function, right? With that you can have much more detail in your screenshots by being zoomed in somewhat more.
  15. The launcher seems to be having more problems lately. It's still trying to connect to the .net website which does not redirect to .org anymore.

Why am I in the missed turn list now?

    Good idea, @jensj12!
  19. That's by design. You should not try changing the list of elements you can build in muliplayer, as it will not change for the other players. By changing it you have a different list than them. If you then place the object, the others, including the host, will crash, or see a different object.
  20. Any more details? I have no idea what you mean.

Sure thing Dan and Phil! You should really get the extension packs Phil But I'm fine with them not being used.
  22. How did you manage to open the console without having debugging tools enabled? I just tested it, and cannot open it with `. Additionally I can still type when opening the console, then disabling debugging tools.
  23. Check out the download page. There's a launcher you can download there which will notify you when there is a new build.
  24. Or you can conveniently hold down the gear-icon and choose Object Selection, instead of manually typing the window name.

For this park I suggest we use a smaller map, as 256x256 was, in my opinion, too large. I suggest we go for near the 200x200, maybe even smaller. I also think it would be better to start off with ground at base height (+7) instead of completely to the ground, as not everyone was strictly raising the land their turn.
