  1. Again, the limits are there for a reason, they cannot be 'removed'. Removing them would be a lot of work, and this cannot be done before all original code has been decompiled.
  2. You can change the location of your documents folder entirely. Go to your library, where you see the My Documents folder Rightclick My Documents, and go to the Location tab Browse/enter a path that's located on your other drive Click Move If you don't want to move the entire documents folder, you could create a symlink from the save folder to the folder where you want them to be. Make sure to move all saved games to that folder first, then delete the save folder, and create a symlink instead.

Please don't build too many coasters. We've only just begun, and the park is already 80% coaster

Yeah, when I read the title I thought this was about a two-player setup where both players work in one side of the map

I've never seen a tree like that before
  6. This issue has just been resolved by DuncansPumpkin, and will be working fine in the 0.0.5 stable as well.

For small rides like the gentle car ride you say perhaps, but for coasters not so much. There are very few coaster I know that are completely indoor. Maybe the far end, furthest from the park station, could be partly out of the ruins, and the rest kept inside. Making the walls thicker by making them 1-tile wide might also add to the look of it.
  8. That's part of the game, isn't it? Being creative is the way to go. Try to build things on the fly, and not remove it too soon because it doesn't look good. You can always make it look nicer with scenery. After a while you'll get the hang of it for sure. As for the money problem, when I start an empty map I usually keep the 10l-15k load for quite some time, and start off by building a Money Maker attraction. It's a coaster track that I called that way, because it's really short, and guests love it.

Making rides completely indoor is hard, and takes away the beauty of the ride itself. I would only cover part of the ride, or make it go through smaller castles instead. Castles in theme parks are usually not very big, and often only near the entrance of a ride. I like that some of you are using fences as decoration more and more
  10. 'at some point' being after the code has been refactored, which will happen after the game has been completely decompiled, so in short: It will take a long time before the limits can be removed. This will also break compatibility with RCT2, but that's not really an issue here. Also, the maximum map size is based on the tiles you can see. The max is actually 256x256 already (yup, not even 255x255), but the outer edges of the map are black tiles you can't see. They are needed to show the ground under the surface.
  11. I just posted your find at the GitHub issue page: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/2710 Thanks for finding out that it's related to the location!
  12. This should be placed in Ideas. And I think this has been requested before on the forums. It's certainly not impossible, but would require quite some work.
  13. Welcome to the forums!
  14. Nice coaster mokman!
  15. The music reminds me of Koyaanisqatsi.

Might want to make the monotail a bit longer, and make it rest on something The coaster looks good, but in my opinion it's too close to the park entrance.
  17. A problem with this is that most track pieces have different heights for each quarter square, while scenery can only be defined as a block where all occupied tiles have the same height (correct me if I'm wrong).
  18. I am unable to reproduce this by just building the ride. Does this only apply to saved chairlifts?

  20. Try rebuilding the station. I'm on my phone, so I can not verify, but I suspect that there is at least one chaircart in a wrong state for its position. Probably 'ariving at station'.
  21. Glad to hear you're enjoying it so much! If there's anything that you think should be in the game, let us know!

Yeah, I agree. Just recolouring it would be enough. And that door in front of the toilet is nice too. During my turn I noticed that A LOT of people needed to go to the toilet all the time, even though the park is not that big. Made me wonder if it's maybe a bug.
  23. As long as you're connected, you keep the same IP. You can even obtain a new IP by disconnecting your router for ~20 minutes.
  24. Don't confuse external with internal IP addresses. Internally most (almost all) devices get an IP assigned from the router at home, and this IP you can change yourself easily. An external IP address is something given to your router by your ISP, and this is the IP that people from other networks need to connect to. Your router then port-forwards packages to your local device. As IntelOrca says, people can have access to the gateway and reboot it, which sometimes gives you a new external IP address.

No worries, I liked the look of the building already. All I did was some finishing touches.
