Helter Skelter is the real life name for the Spiral Slide, yes, but why the 'Gravitron' in front of it?
-
It does indeed require a new save format. Many people prefer RCT1's pathing system, so you can be sure it will be available once the new save format is ready.

Can't find downloaded paths etc in the game
Gymnasiast replied to Jordi's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Was your problem solved in non-dev ? Broxzier is right about the location. You can access it by opening the Finder, clicking the 'Ga' menu and holding ALT/Option. 'Bibliotheek' will appear. Then go to Application Support and then to OpenRCT2. If you're running a recent develop build, the "object" folder should be there. If it isn't, create it. -
Running openRCT in "--headless" mode (root server)

How do you know the game is running at 0.25 FPS? -
Stuff like that is usually there to avoid bots flooding the server. Searching can be quite an expensive operation.

Installation Problems - Windows 10
Gymnasiast replied to Hopfski's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
@Hopfski Right, it's not needed or recommended to install OpenRCT2 in the same directory as RCT2. I'm getting an idea what might be the issue - could you give me a listing of the "data" subdirectory? -
The Android version currently has a severe bug that prevents it from starting, but all versions of OpenRCT2 can be used together in a multiplayer game.
-
You're on an old build. Please upgrade to the latest release (v0.2.1) or the latest develop version.
-
It's odd, but I cannot reproduce that crash. Which build* of OpenRCT2 are you on, and which language is the game set to? * The build version is listed in the title screen and looks something like ab1cd2ef.
-
I'd like to investigate that scenario - OpenRCT2 should not crash. If you have Windows, go to Documents\OpenRCT2\scenario. The scenario should be there. Please upload it here, so I can investigate it. To avoid crashes, you can move the scenario to another folder on your hard drive.
-
It looks like your custom objects are in the wrong folder. If you have Windows, move all custom objects from RCT2/ObjData to Documents\OpenRCT2\object (create that last folder if it doesn't exist). Hint: in order to see which objects are original and which are custom, sort them by "last modified" or "created at" dates.
-
In the future, we will auto-create those directories, since we get this question very often.
-
The end quotes on game_path are missing in the config.ini file. If you add those, it should work. Otherwise, try Jens' solution.

Placing paths while paused creates phantom paths
Gymnasiast replied to sims's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
It has been fixed in the meantime. Please update to the latest develop version and the problem should be gone. -
All of this is stuff that is both hard to do and requires a new save format. Higher limits are planned, but RGB support s impossible, for the simple reason that every "colour" in RCT is in fact a range of 11 tints, rather than a single colour expressible in RGB values.
-
Both features are planned. But we need to change the way OpenRCT2 saves its parks in order to make it possible. I expect that to be done next year.

Installation Problems - Windows 10
Gymnasiast replied to Hopfski's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Could you give a listing of the directory you select (i.e. the one that contai s rct2.exe)? A screenshot will do. -
I don't know if there are written rules, I haven't seen any at least. Though, like every forum, people are expected to be a little bit nice to each other, not to double post, et cetera. If you already have experience with forums and had no problems there you're not likely to have them here.

Is the RCt-Classic LSM Launchtrack coming to OpenRCT2?
Gymnasiast replied to djwessie's topic in General Discussion
If you had actually tried to build them, you would have known they have already been added to OpenRCT2. 1.5 years ago, in fact. -
Things that will be possible once the new save format comes
Gymnasiast replied to DigitalMan's topic in General Discussion
Don't worry, I was referring to imlegos. And I only did that to make sure that you didn't think a team member was promising stuff there. I wasn't cross with either of you. -
Can't select RCT classic when OpenRCT2 first launches
Gymnasiast replied to Jordi's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
You need to enable Lighting Effects for that. But note that it is a little buggy. -

'We'? You're not one of the developers. Anyway, importing stuff from RCT2 and RCT1 will always be possible, full stop. I have said that dozens of times. -
Could you upload your save?

Do you mean that the game is now fully working, i.e. that stuff is not invisible any more?
