  1. You just switched the sequence itself but not the music. You can change the music on the audio tab of the Options window.
  2. Open Finder. Click the `Go` menu and hold `Alt`. `Library` will appear, navigate to it, then Application Support -> OpenRCT2. There you can modify config.ini.
  3. RCT Classic does not contain all the assets from RCT1, it lacks some vehicles, land types, path types and a few other things. It also doesn’t contain all the scenarios. On top of that, the RCT1 scenarios it contains have numerous modifications. I would recommend you link OpenRCT2 to RCT2 and RCT1 for the best results, and then copy Tycoon Park.sea to the scenarios folder to get the fullest experience possible. The music issue you mention is logged here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/17944 As for the title sequences: as far as I know, this should work already if you just have RCT Classic installed. Does it not work for you?
  4. The water colour is something you can change already - it ships with five different colours by default. It shouldn’t be all that hard to port it - a "water style" is just a palette of 326 RGB colours. I don’t think we’ll be shipping it by default, though. Locomotion’s style is altogether a bit more realistic, but also less vibrant. So I’m not sure if it would be a very good fit.
  5. It still works, you just need to download both files and feed the .exe to Extractor or innoextract. We have also documented this, updated for the recent change: https://docs.openrct2.io/en/latest/installing/installing-on-macos.html
  6. Besides what GingerAdonis already mentioned, there is also the point that the forums are barely used. Most days, I am just here to remove spam. It leads to people posting questions, but not getting answers, or only getting them very late. By going on the other, more active platforms, people will get an answer much more quickly. The forum licence also costs money, which is hard to justify for something that is used so little.
  7. I haven’t seen that error before, but it sounds like a damaged or dirty disc. Try cleaning it and see if that helps. Otherwise, I’d suggest you buy it on GOG or Steam. Steam currently has a "double pack" offer, containing RCT1 and 2 with their expansions, for €12-13. That will give you all content that OpenRCT2 supports.
  8. Slechter?!
  9. Not all object files can be downloaded from our servers. You’ll have to search for the objects (e.g. via Google) and install them manually. If you can’t find them, some other users from Mozar should be able to provide them to you. Also: please put something more descriptive than "Error" as the subject field. Other users need to be able to see what the problem is about from a glance.
  11. You have to remove the files of the old version first, just extracting the new portable ZIP over the old will cause problems with object loading. In which folder did you install OpenRCT2?
  13. Can you upload your save, or upload a screenshot that clearly shows the whole coaster? We cannot say anything about your coaster if we cannot see it. I can help you in Dutch or German if needed. Otherwise, we can try to explain it in very simple terms. @BEplayer It’s a nice offer, but online translators are generally not very good for this kind of thing, especially when trying to translate English into smaller languages.
  14. Judging from the screenshots, I think you may have placed two of them too closely together, so that one train covers two of them at a time. Besides removing ones that are too closely together, you can also simply lower the amount of cars by one.
  15. This is because we fixed some stuff in OpenRCT2, it is not related to having RCT1 linked. The author of the Peep Editor, Manticore_007 has actually updated it, but has not made a release for some reason. I have just sent him a DM asking to make a beta release. He does share it via Discord, but that’s not much use if you’re here :')
  16. Hm, odd. How did you upgrade?
  18. Which guide did you follow exactly? Our official guide recommends using Steam Play and doesn’t require the console (and so does the old wiki page), but maybe you found an old guide? Anyway, I recommend following the steps as outlined by the documentation, which are here: https://docs.openrct2.io/en/latest/installing/installing-on-linux-bsd.html#steam
  19. As of a few weeks, the Ubuntu builds are built against Ubuntu 24.04 (which is the base of Linux Mint 22.x) and won’t work on earlier versions. This is because we started running into compiler issues on 22.04, with builds often failing or running out of memory. We’re not happy about having to drop it, but the reality is that our team is stretched thin and we have to keep development speed. TL;DR: it will work again if you upgrade to Linux Mint 22.x.
  20. I can’t fault you for that. I’m not terribly happy with it either, but we’re stretched thin and sometimes have to make choices like this to keep development going.
  21. I cannot reproduce the problem either, even after removing all path tiles in the park. Assuming it has been fixed in the meantime.
  22. Ah right, that’s two separate problems, then. Compiler troubles have recently caused us to drop Ubuntu 22.04 and earlier, including derivatives like Linux Mint. You’ll need something with Ubuntu 24.04 as its base, like LM 22.x. (So while Dubaifreak’s suggestion of upgrading was a good one after all.) Could you upload the save that causes crashes? It’s possible that the crash has been solved since, but I want to make that sure.
  23. Does this problem still occur? If so, I’ll take a look.
  24. Where are you looking? In the Object Selection or in the New Ride menu? If it’s the latter: every save/scenario has its own selection of objects, and we don’t automatically add anything to existing scenarios. You can add them yourself though, by enabling the Cheats button and opening the Object Selection dialog.
  25. This should be fixed as of a few days ago.
