  1. Six minutes is 18 days in-game. And you can increase the time they're willing to wait by using queue TVs and entertainers.
  2. We have had more people report this. However, it's hard to investigate unless we know the exact develop build in which it broke.
  3. 1) TOR is free and easy to set up. 2) If it's so simple, why don't you implement it yourself and open a pull request? It's an open source project. Really, I don't know why you think you can boss us around so much. We put our spare time into this game and give it to you for free, and we expect nothing in return. But apparently you still think we owe you. That's fine. I don't mind disagreement or asking for a feature we decided against earlier. It's the entitled attitude of some people I can't stand (or comprehend).
  4. Back when we introduced it, the idea of the multiplayer security model was that people would be put into a spectator group on login and granted permissions by their public key (which prevents people from simply logging in using someone else's username). Doing this means that troll/hackers might still be able to login, but can't do anything more than watch (unless you put a password on the server as well). IP banning was discussed, but decided against because it's not difficult to circumvent, and because IPv4 addresses nowadays are increasingly shared with multiple people (because of address depletion).
  5. All of these are fair requests. 3 is the hardest to implement; 1 should be the easiest. I haven't yet taken a look why go karts cannot take a 2x2 or 3x3 turn side-by-side; I suspect it needs special programming for every single track piece.
  6. That's not what I asked. Update the game and see if you still have this error.
  7. When your game crashes, does OpenRCT2 ask you to upload the crash dump? And do you click 'Yes' if it does? If so, there isn't much else you can do, unless you know how to reliably trigger the crash (examples: "If I click X, then Y, then Z, the game always crashes" or "If I load this save, it always crashes").
  8. If you think you can talk to us like that, you're wrong. I don't appreciate this one bit.
  9. You're on the 0.2.1 release, which has a few bugs. Download the latest develop (or set the Launcher to use it) and try again. Let us know if the problem persists.
  10. Which build? Look in the title screen for something like ab1c2d3.
  11. I don't think there is an age limit. This forum is not US-based, where COPPA means you have to jump through 78 hoops to accommodate children under 13.
  12. That's a very optimistic estimate... We expect to have the new save format implemented this year, but don't expect it to get rid of all limitations yet. Most importantly, roller coaster types will still be hardcoded in the first version (though we will be able to add new ones). @X7123M3-256 Would adding a spiral lift hill to the Looping RC be sufficient? That could be done within the current limits, since it doesn't involve adding new track pieces.
  13. This has defintely been reported to our bug tracker. I'll have to search for it, though, as I'm not sure how the reporter described it.
  14. The Spiral Roller Coaster already serves that purpose, and is directly based on Schwarzkopf's rides. (So is the Mini Roller Coaster, by the way.)
  15. You're not the only one who thinks this would be useful. It has also been reported here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/5860 I can't give you a timescale for this, but you can follow any progress by visiting the link I provided.
  16. I'm sure that if you search for this question, you'll find it has been asked 10000 times. We're working on it. And it will be this year, yes. I aim for the first half of this year, but keep in mind we all have busy schedules and have to do it in our spare time, so we can't always work as much on OpenRCT2 and you and we would like.
  17. On macOS, you don't put shortcuts to applications on the desktop. You put them in the Dock (the bar full of icons on the bottom of your screen). To get it there, just drag the OpenRCT2 app into the Dock.
  18. You're using the "release" version. Please set your launcher to use "develop". Then try again. (We release irregularly, and a lot of bugs in the last release (0.2.1) have already been solved in the "develop" branch. In general, we recommend always using develop unless you have a good reason not to.)
  19. Ok, thanks. You will need to take a look on the file system. You can do that with a file manager (available in the Play Store) or by connecting the device to a computer with a USB cable. Unfortunately, the internet appears a little thin on details as to where RCT Classic stores its files. I would love to say which directory to look in, but lacking both an Android device and RCT Classic, I cannot look it up. What I would do is connect the phone to a computer and search for the name of the track design, or for files ending in *.TD6 (the track format that RCT2 and RCT Classic use).
  20. We can't help if you don't even specify which operating system you have -- is it iOS or Android? And which version?
  21. It was a bug that has been solved in the meantime. Please update your server.
  22. This appears to be a bug, which we are currently trying to solve. In the meantime, you can follow method 2 on the page that h0pscotch linked. Edit: this bug has now been fixed.
  23. Since this question seems to be asked often, I figured I'd copy a small tutorial I wrote earlier. In the title screen of OpenRCT2, click on the red toolbox. A menu will drop down. Click the last option in the menu, labelled 'Open custom content folder': The file manager will now open the custom content folder of OpenRCT2. This contains several precreated folders: An overview of what each folder is used for: heightmap: When trying to load heightmaps in the Scenario Editor, this folder is looked in first. landscape: When working on scenarios in the Scenario Editor, unfinished ones are saved here. object: This is the folder where you can put your custom objects (.DAT, .POB or .PARKOBJ). If you load a saved game from someone else with custom objects in it, OpenRCT2 will extract them here as well. save: Saved games are put here. scenario: Custom scenarios are put here. screenshot: If you create a screenshot, it will be saved here. themes: If you create a custom theme, it will be saved here. track: Your custom track designs are saved here.
  24. You need to provide way more data. Which operating system do you use? Which build of OpenRCT2 are you running, and which build is your brother running?
  25. You can downvote Jens' comment all you want, but you aren't explaining your problem clearly at all. I guess that you do have RCT2 and you mean that you have the issue of not all RCT1 scenarios showing up. In any case, if you wish help, stop downvoting and explain yourself clearly.
