    Whats up

    Hello, welcome to the forums!
  2. Ah now I remember, I almost forgot about that video.
  3. Oh? Was it the video of playing rct2 without CD-Rom?
  4. We know, and we know what caused it. https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/3321
  5. This is also vague Scenery does improve the ride ratings, so in that sense it's unfair to place a bunch of objects on the same tile, but it also does allow for nicer looking coasters.
  6. This is getting a rather long thread already, haha. It might be best to just remove this one, and make a new one with the rules being clear We can ask @RuneLaenen to remove this thread if you're up for it.
  7. And what about disabling clearance for scenery?
  8. I just think contests need to have strict rules set, a clear target about how to participate, what makes one win exactly, and this is all a bit vague.
  9. What about hacks, like disabled clearance? Allowed for scenery? Or also for tracks? Does the landscape count as well, or does it need to be nice looking as a ride on itself?
  10. When quick saving, it uses the same name as the file you opened.
  11. Good luck getting 35 competitors, there's not that many active players on here. when doing a poll, also set a deadline for how long people can vote.
  12. foul language, of course, but why not names? In the second group park there was a ride called Tesla for example, I think that's a great name for a ride, and obviously a reference to the person. The contest seems very unclear, it all depends on your opinion to decide who wins. Why not make it a poll so everyone can vote?
  13. I disagree. Sounds is something that should only be managed by the player. A button to open the sound manager could be added to the ride window, but it certainly should not be part of the ride itself.
  14. With the search function I think the scrolling is not a problem anymore.
  15. R.I.P. jensj and dog sprites 2016-2016 :'(

    Group Park 3

Since CoasterMaster, CAVIAR, and qbbq haven't replied yet, I think you can remove from the missed turn list when you're done, Wuis.
  17. The current stable has a few bugs that were found out after the release, for example you can't rotate pre-build rides when trying to place them, and in the scenario editor you can open the ride interface. If there are any issues that annoy you, then try using the development version, as bugs will be fixed on there on the fly. Note that develop might be unstable at times, and you will encounter more bugs as new features are being implemented.
  18. I like dogs. This has been my profile picture online for 15 years now.

    Coszie Park

You don't need the corrupt map elements for this, you can simply delete the entrance parts next to the path. Also if you are going to use corrupt map elements, it's best to move the things you want to hide above it, because in vanilla rct2 all elements on the same tile above it will be hidden.
  20. Hello and welcome to the forums!
  21. You said that you couldn't reproduce this anymore, or do you mean something new?
  22. It could be made so intentionally, to have old attractions become popular again. The scalar values are just too extreme in my opinion.
  23. This is something that has been discussed, but no one picked it up to make yet. I've listed quite some sounds I could think of in there already: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/2624
  24. https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/3353
  25. True enough. Making tracks invisible using the tile inspector it a very time consuming task. A diagonal piece takes up 4 tiles, with the next taking up one on the same tile. For better UX this should be improved. Edit: Also managing the height of each track piece can be a tedious task this way, as all track elements of a piece need to match the same height. This would decrease UX even more. I'm not against making this, I just need to find a way to get all track elements for a piece.
