The map is a RCT1 port. -
"can't construct this here... too low"
imlegos replied to Chopkinsca's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
You can't build ride stations (Flats and stalls count) on the lowest layer possible. This does seem to be rather interesting as this was not present in RCT1 (Infact, it was the sole reason Micro Park worked like it did) -
Have you tried trying to reconnect to the same server? Most the time when I try to multiplayer, the first time I join a server after booting the game up, it DC's me, the second time works fine.

Do spawn points have to face out of park too?
imlegos replied to joshmarsilio's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Guest Insertion Points just need to be pointing away from the edge of the map. Park Entrances need to have the text scrolling on the outside of a park. -
I thought by the "A la carte" thing he meant being able to zone a certain area so no tiles on it appear, to make it easier to build up something behind another structure.

Downloaded custom scenery content doesn't work.
imlegos replied to Hylian's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Make sure you have the listing showing custom content. Might be only showing vanilla content. -
If you're talking about the benches in the top left, they're a combo of scenery and normal benches. I don't remember what the table & umbrella object is called though. probably in a bench somewhere.

Don't really see a good use for splitting these.

Any RCT2 UCES creators around here at all?
imlegos replied to HedlessChickn's topic in General Discussion
I liked the concept of train town and had most the UCES stuff installed at one point, but never played it. -
Don't know about any custom scenery, but I know there's a custom scenario somewhere.

RCT2 didn't remove the "Entry fee too high" alert... ...Making them pay 300+ seems a bit excessive... Hell, anything above 50 seems insane. I just price stalls decently so I get 2.00 profit from most food items, 1.50 from drinks, .90 from souvenirs, and 3.00 for umbrellas. I just raise the entry fee based on how much guests carry.

Custom content in base game scenarios
imlegos replied to Mortheus's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
You have to add them to a scenario. Or create your own scenario with them using the Scenario Editor. -

Did a quick layout completion on the Mine Train, wasn't feeling any creativity to do the themeing. The OpenRCT2 Group Park 6.40.sv6 Claimed: Queue: @Jochem, Wuis, Broxzier, SpiffyJack, giraty, qbbq, jensj12, imlegosMissed: RedScope53, Cascadia, WobblyRails, Tune, TheMightyClem

You can also open the parks directly from in-game using the "Edit Title Sequences" option found in the options menu.

I'll probably claim on thursday.

I'm guessing my mine train would have a building with a company name somewhere in the "town" area (near station)?
-
Actually, the ride being visible above the exit is just a rendering glitch that has always been in RCT2

He meant removing people saying guest commands in Twitch chats. The bot I mentioned is infact a twitch bot, which joins the connected streams of users playing OpenRCT2 on stream (This is dependent on having ORCT2 open and connected to Twitch) User permissions in servers can be modified by the host to include ability to build attractions, scenery, paths, use cheats, chat, and pretty much everything else. The one thing they can't remove is viewing. Controlling peeps would be a little awkward since they act like a bouncing Pac-Men, never stoping (Though in this case, even when reaching the edge, they just turn)

Totally New to the project, Totally excited
imlegos replied to BurninTurtles's topic in Introductions
All the good servers are mainly experienced based. Welcome to the undying community. -
ORCT2 does have a bot already. Mainly used for naming the guests and sending certain messages to the in-game ticker

Eh, anyone can feel free to work on the train (It'd probably get done then). I'll just keep final say of what stays and goes, that seem good?

I may have to hold off for a few weeks, things are getting a little hectic. Yellowstone+New House=No time for imagining mines
