My best idea for keeping a public server open is to have it open only when someone is watching the server (who has player group and kicking capabilities). I've been playing around the servers, and I know of the exact thing you're talking about as I was there when it was happening, though under a different name that I use for scouting things out.

Turns out, the guy going around saying he's Nicman can't be Nicman, he doesn't know the actual origin story of his own cheats, which Nicman would. There's also the obvious Nicman would never admit to it being Nicman.

Maybe pressing A or D would scroll through turn options, with w placing Otherwise, all is fine

Problem; most of the keys are actually bound to other shortcuts already, I'm too lazy to draw a visual of it atm, but I think most keys would be used.

It seems very clear that Chris designed RCT2 as more of a tool then a game like RCT1 was. The scenarios were probably just kept to stay true to RCT

The music itself not being affected by any sound options already does that, the only way to turn down the music on the title screen is too lower your PC volume, or disable the title music alltogether.

You have to take the folder out of the .zip and put it into title sequences.

The problem with this is that the RCT2 title music starts off with a fairly empty feeling, which makes sense given that the original intro showed a barren park entry, with guests coming and going, during the beginning, before going into the proper thrills the user could experience.

@PalesA link to a collection of recreated RCT1 scenarios on reddit has flown around a lot on this site. ORCT2 also has the ability to read RCT1 scenario files IIRC

No alternatives yet, though someone could probably post a Youtube of the full sequence.

...you could atleast post both the files here, then one of the forum mods could upload them for the devs to check through.

Why not just ban Chinese characters from the site all together? Anyone with half a brain could notice just by looking that the site is English dominant.

@YoloSweggLord In all likliness, we'd only have to do remakes of all the traditional/well known works, (Ragtime, Pirate, Oregon, and all the fairground songs fall into these) All the other songs are original Allister Brimbles tho (A.B. is the freelance music artist C.S. had work on RCT)

Eventually, there is a plan, I've heard it mention before. But a problem I see with this is the custom content part of the community, it's grown too much based on the original assets, some parts even using bits of the original assets as part of them. It'd probably be easier to get Simon Foster to allow us to use the graphical assets then get the entire RCT2CC community to revise their inventory. Also, if this means changing the music, R.I.P. Modern Style Techno Torture.

Right, minecraft, it is hard to find a good not listed survival server ain't it... But yeah, MP is pretty much what you expect; Servers with little to no skill, serves that blow your mind yet are whitelisted, and then there's the few that are unwhitelisted with some dedicated mods.

Hope you're finding everything satisfactory, except the multiplayer, I wouldn't blame ya if you disliked that community... Whitelisting, whitelisting and trolls everywhere. Anyway, what broke when you were adding backups? Anything with ORCT2 itself?
