For me it placed it under the selected element, I don't see how it would be different for you. From testing just now I did notice that the base height is not automatically clamped anymore, so I'll look into that. Edit: I've submitted a pull request for it, sorry for the inconvenience it has caused so far.

The lighting wouldn't make sense when you turn them around. You could make these objects yourself with the object editor to see how it looks.

With so many advanced high-tech utilities appearing in the park, they couldn't keep their feet on the ground when word about teleporters being developed reached their ears. They went to search for the person behind them, Dr. Steve Brule, and once found he was already able to give a microscopic demonstration where he could teleport a seed from an apple. The park provided Dr. Steve with everything he needed to continue his research and improve it further. Soon, he was able to teleport bigger objects, the time was shortened, and eventually he managed to get even moving objects to instantly reach their destination. It didn't take long to perfect his work, and soon a ride for the park could be constructed: Vertex. I keep having issues with it because these corrupt elements are so much lower than the tracks. Building anything in between makes the whatever you've built hidden, and reveals the track. Pressing the insert corrupt element button should automatically place it right under the selected element, but apparently that did not happen for you. Alternatively you can manually press the Clamp to next button to put them right under the hidden element. In case of the image above, the selected element's base and clearance height will be set to 93. This way, whatever is being built on the tile will not accidentally get hidden by the corrupt element. The rar file is an archive file, you should extract the files from it using a tool like 7-zip or WinRar instead of using the file directly.

Failed to Create Dump Upon Restart

That folder looks messed up. Why are there so many non-scenario files in the save folder? Try removing all of them (those being the data folder, changelog, contributors, licence, openrct2, openrct2.dll, and readme). Make sure you actually have those files one level up (In Documents > OpenRCT2). -
I have the feeling you are not even reading the replies or don't understand what we're saying.

Obviously it's some kind of atomic multiplexer that based on the direction of impact chooses whether or not it passes through.

Cant find g1.dat and i dont have an original RCT2 folder
Broxzier replied to kek-star's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
You'll need to point OpenRCT2 to where you have installed RCT2. OpenRCT2 is like a mod, it can't run the game without you having it installed.- 1 reply

Sounds like they mean a completely new project, and "to learn code" suggests Keithybub doesn't have much experience with programming yet, so I'm afraid this new project will be a waste of time really. Why not try to contribute to OpenRCT2 instead, and learn how to code better that way?

Agreed, the trams are awesome! @Wuis Which part do you mean though, or are you only imagining a line of people? Edit: Apparently this only got posted just now, but I typed and posted it before I went to bed.

@cascadia Did you not put yourself back in the queue on purpose? @YoloSweggLord You can make it four again Claimed: BroxzierQueue: TCE, WuisMissed: jensj12, Redscope53, Tune, BlazingEmpireHD, Jochem, YoloSweggLord, SpiffyJack, giraty

There is currently no way to turn individual sounds off, but this does sound like a bug. Please file an issue on GitHub about it.

Could you please post your solution so it may help other Mac users in the future.

The file openrct2.com is an executable too, just one that opens a console with the game. I think the launcher uses openrct2.exe instead, hence why it's not an issue for you. If you hardly ever get real viruses, you may want to consider to uninstall Norton and switch over to Windows Defender.

Google image search is where I found most of mine. You can also make them yourself with an image editor, even Paint can do. Draw some shapes, fill them, blur the edges, add some noise, distort the blurred areas... Here's a quick video of how to make a random height map in Photoshop: http://www.broxzier.com/files/ShareX/heightmap.mp4

Hello everyone! Not so long ago a height map loader has been merged into the project, which is now both present in the stable (0.0.7) and development branch. A height map is usually a greyscale image where each pixel represents the average height of the area on the map, where black is low and white is high. The loader reads those images, and turns them into a map. The height map loader can be accessed only in the Scenario Editor, and can be found in the Map Generation window. After you have selected your height map, the map will be generated already, and the greyed-out options will now be accessible. Here are some height maps that I used for testing (and for fun). United Kingdom: Interestingly random noise generates nice maps when you smooth them out: A river or something: And obviously the best map ever:

That was quick. You can do a lot more if you want.

Oh! I forgot, that makes sense.

Are you suggesting they are not real giraffe remains and that the experts are actually just ordinary people who are selling nonsense?! Which may be true...

In the past few months park management noticed the slowly increasing interest in the Giraffe Area of the park. Based on some web and social media interactions with guests, they concluded that guests are happy to go there "for the idea", and decided that the area should be expanded. While the area was liked, a common answer to the question "What do you dislike about the giraffe area?" was that you would've seen all of it within a short amount of time. Being an attraction park, management decided to build a fun house filled with silly facts and unimportant information about giraffes. Guests can enter the building through the entrance at the bottom, which leads to the basement. This is a dark room where displays containing real giraffe remains among other things can be seen. Next to every display is a board with information and fun facts about this beautiful animal. Guests can borrow headphones that tell them all sorts of things about what they see (all they have to do is press the number of the display to hear the recorded sample!). Two giraffe experts will guide groups of guests through the room to provide a guided tour for the guests every 30 minutes. For parents with annoy-uninterested children a playzone has been constructed inside, where you can leave your children while our staff will keep a watch over them. At the end of the tour through the building, the most remarkable aspects of the expanded area is accessible: a Virginia reel track, named after the fact Giraffes Can Spin. Depending on its popularity, the building might get extended. Park management was surprised by how quickly the area was filled! Some other things: 10 minute inspections for all rides Tidied up the path that went down from Spaghetti monster Made Skyway (monorail) go underground in the same area Fixed Rejecting All Parking Spots loop in the track (and added 2 extra cars with a delay between them, so that it looks busier, and doesn't look too obvious) Claimed: - Queue: @TCE, Wuis, Cascadia, giraty, Broxzier Missed: jensj12, Redscope53, Tune, BlazingEmpireHD, Jochem, YoloSweggLord, SpiffyJack The OpenRCT2 Group Park 5.50.sv6

@cascadia, @SpiffyJack Just to be sure, version 5.49a is the one I should work with?

Claiming! Going to work on it tomorrow.

No, it's too trivial. It won't be helpful, it will only cluster the window more.
