  1. Park value and company value are calculated by a specific formula (just like the park rating) and thus need to be forced to be a value, if you want to change them. I can't recall anyhting other than a scenario goal being affected by those values, so there's absolutely no need to cheat that (scenario goals are there for a reason, don't ever cheat them). Same goes for the EIN-ratings, if they are not what you want them to be, build a different coaster. There is already a cheat that makes guests ignore the intensity rating. Time only influences ride age, and there's already a cheat for that (and scenario goals, but again, don't ever cheat them). I can understand that when sharing a map you'd sometimes want to reset the time, but only when sharing a map as scenario for someone to play. Using the scenario maker already does that (also resets ride age to fix undefined behaviour). Remove guests that... While certainly being helpful, I see no use case for it (where there are no other solutions). The game already makes those guests leave the park. If they are stuck and can't leave your park, a new group of guests will get stuck again if you remove them, so you'll have to fix the paths and then the game will already 'remove' those guests by making them leave. There is already a cheat for removing all guests. Good idea's, but for the devs not worth the hassle.
  2. There's a workaround: save the track as .png (another extension might work too) and manually rename it to .TD6
  3. Go to steam -> right-click RCT2 -> properties -> browse local game files, that's the folder you're looking for.
  4. It's 4x4, and the data stored is about 16 times as much if we broke it into 1x1 squares (1 bit for every tile in the park, which is up to 256x256 in size).
  5. Since you asked for it, I won't. Parks should be built because they are (meant to be) good, not to get any praise from others. Footprints of most coasters seem to be too big to be of any use in other parks, nor do they have outstanding scenery (only station buildings, which are good). If I had that much free space in a park I'd rather build one myself, can't be that hard.
  6. You can make one yourself. Objective and park size are in the title/original post. Just enable every single ride type you see in the screenshot (and a few more) and use default scenario/money settings.
  7. Title on this topic is wrong, path is not the same as park. You can already lower the land you don't want to use and place black scenery on it. Changing any limitation will require custom savegames and thus break compatibility with the original game. It might be done sometime, but not anytime soon.
  8. It is not a problem, it's called a game mechanic. The game wants you to replace old rides with newer ones over time. I usually make them free so the guests without money stay inside the park (unless the goal is monthly profit).

    Group Park 2

It's been more than 48 hours since the last update, so... Claimed: - Next In Line: @imlegos, jensj12 Missed Turn: Enner, , UTMAN, Wuis, Squab, Przemek, WobblyRails, Racey, qbbq, Wuis, Philmon11, @Broxzier
  10. The hybrid track are the only one I'm really missing as coaster type, but I'd like to see some types extended with flat booster/launch track. It was my favourite track element in RCT1 (using turbo chainlifts just doesn't work).
  11. UCES wants you to install it in the RCT2 directory, as it just adds some files to it (installing is mostly just copying files). You did it manually now (like me, as my default RCT2 folder name was different from what UCES assumes).

    Group Park 3

I'm in! I'd say even less than 200x200, something like 180x180, just walking for a long time makes guests already feel lost. About the base land height, if we start at +7 I think we will get a mostly flat map, but it's worth a try and I'll keep an eye on it. Change the rules to 'change' the land instead of 'raise' the land. Or add another marker for unused land, like a rarely used terrain texture. That marker must be removed from the land the player uses.
  13. The launcher has an option 'install steam stub', I think he means that option. I have no idea how to undo that, but I've never used it either.
  14. Money and guest count are still in the lower left corner of the game. If you can't see it, hit 'T' on your keyboard (and make sure you're in a scenario with cash enebled if you want to see your money).
  15. Thanks Redino, submission accepted! I'm looking forward to whatever comes next!

    Group Park 2

Fixed guests getting stuck heading towards backstage drop, nitro, iced thea stall 3 (wasn't even connected to path), poseidons rehearsal and let it go, but still the park rating is not stable (dropped below 300 after cheating it back to 999). TODO: Look for more places where guests get stuck (and add paths) Look for places without bins and benches (and add them) Look for places without handyman assigned (and increase nearby patrol areas) Claimed: - Next In Line: @Philmon11, Broxzier, imlegos, jensj12 Missed Turn: Enner, , UTMAN, Wuis, Squab, Przemek, WobblyRails, Racey, qbbq, Wuis Community Park V2.91.sv6

  18. Yeah, that exitement rating requirement is quite strict, I put it in to prevent a 2x30 reverse freefall coaster being submitted (which is already in my park ), might lower it if there aren't enough submissions. I'd be happy to see more, I love the creativity people put in compact rides.
  19. Is there any place where I can find them? (I'm from the Netherlands, in case it matters)
  20. @Redino If you're coaster covers 14x5 tiles, it's not a valid entry. I count the rectangle your coaster is in, and that's 70 tiles. Don't be disappointed though, I won't count it as submission so you can submit another coaster as soon as it's ready. @_fog Submission accepted! As my personal record is an exitement rating of 7.46 I don't expect yours to win, but you never know until the contest is over. Still waiting for 9 more valid submissions.

You can use my 24H claim time to finish your work. And if it's needed I'll 'claim' it to give you another 48 hours
  22. Some time ago I posted a park with 60 coasters with a small footprint, ranging from 25 to 100 tiles. I'm currently working on a new park with compact coasters and I'd like to give you a chance to get your design in it, so I decided to start a contest: Design a compact coaster on at most 60 tiles. The best design(s) will be included in the second compact coaster pack (if I'll ever release it ). If you need inspiration, look at Towers of Terror in Group Park 2 (which is 90 tiles, not 60). Rules: The coaster may not use more than 60 tiles. This is calculated by multiplying the numbers shown on the select coaster design screen (a rectangle including entrance/exit). Valid options are 2x30, 3x20, 4x15, 5x12, 6x10 and 7x8. You will get a small bonus for using less than 60 tiles. It must be possible to build a valid path from the entrance and the exit. Exitement rating must be at least 5.5 (without scenery). The coaster type must be available in vanilla RCT2. No scenery and only flat ground, I'll disable scenery when I build the coaster in a flat park. Don't use cheats or trainers, it must be possible to build it from scratch under normal conditions. Judging: The exitement rating will be the score for your coaster. There will be some penalties and bonusses for various things (a safe coaster with high capacity will get a bonus, high intensity/nausea ratings attract a penalty) Participating: Post your coaster (.TD6 file) AND one screenshot of your coaster in this topic to enter. The contest will end on 30th april 23:59 forum time. You are allowed to submit another coaster if your last entry was before the annoucement of the deadline. You can NOT replace any of your entries with newer coaster, so make sure it's finished before posting. Let the building begin!
  23. Since you'll most likely get the triple thrill pack (or a 3-pack with both expansions) instead of only the original game, you'll also get a lot more scenery and some more vehicle types for all coaster types.
  24. If you desperately need help, posting screenshots works far better than save games. Not everyone looks at saves (me included) but most people do look at screenshots.
  25. Looks like the first one got a 50% penalty for not having a large drop. Therefore I won't vote (wanted to vote for the first because it has a smaller footprint).
