@Foxy There are some full-tile tarmac paths without railings:

TarmacComparison.PNG.14b3f0109c732fee69d9e12d21cc5a03.PNG

The one on the left is the in-game tarmac path. The one in the middle is CONCRETE.DAT, and the one on the right is SFFTPTAR.DAT.

I like the middle one.

Sure. I've got a collection of paths I often use. I've got a tarmac with no stairs on slopes too :o

Sounds useful for making roads.

Is the map still unclaimed?

I think so, no one has claimed it since the last upload. 5.07a that should be called 5.08 is the one you should continue on.

If it had supports, then it'd probably depend how strong and deep the supports are.

(Though,  a support connected to the side of the cliff would probably help aswell)

Change log:

* Re Construct wash from top down:

     - Add slope from edge to blow out.

     - Define flow areas.

     - Add foliage.

** Build up Dunes:

     - Add an on- shore sand slope on north side.

     - Take slope at ridge to valley.

     - Add foliage.

*** Add (very small "ocean" port):

     - Added small dock area with vessel. (Guests show up by land and sea :) ).

**** Add ridge line between sand valley and grass valley.

     - Add foliage at new ridge.

***** Little bit of this and that here and there.

     - Temp signage at wash entrance, named after the famous SpiffyJack :D

     - Added a couple hidden little treasures.

As of now, I'm passing the torch.

Have Fun.

had just an idea:

how about a multi-area park.

at the ocean some sort of water park

and on the other side the main park

both are connected via railroad system.  (i know, it could confuse the quests... maybe one single (hidden) path, so that the pathfinding function wont get too many problems)

visually both parks are seperate ones. only the one hidden path and the railroad connects both of them :D

Edit:

question:

i know, not everyone likes custom scenary, but i found those on http://www.nedesigns.com/

the problem is, that vanilla RCT2 has a lack of supports :/

the blue ones could also be used for african style buildings (the roof supports that are logs sticking out of the sides) (8 parts)

The red supports are only usefull for wooden coasters and bridges. (because of mount dirtmore, me might need a lot of bridges) (7 parts).

catwalks for lifts could be done by merging other tracks ontop of an existing lift, i think (tile inspector copy&paste).

Its your choice.

i could create something without additional supports, but it might not look as good.

ok. finished my claim for today.

only added a few details for the meadow:

and tried something with the park entrance.

my plan was to create something like a castle.

I used 2 custom objects (a 1/16 tile and a 2/16 tile <long>) for this pixel-title

if you dont like it, just remove it / change color / whatever. :D

It was just a product of pure boringness *lol*

It'd need some pretty hefty supports to stand up in a flood. Moving water is extremely powerful, and even if the structure holds up, the foundations can be rapidly eroded away.

Well, I sorta was gonna do a Minetrain collab with YSL for this.

Though, I'm not gonna really be able to do this until after next week.

Going down to SouthCali next week for Mid Winter.

I figured we could work on it in a locked server, when it comes to the mine train. If that's fine with everyone else.

Interesting, I'm going on a MidWinter retreat this weekend, in Daytona.
