  1. I'm happy you can at least continue, but this bug should still be fixed. I hope this thread catches the attention of Gymnasiast someday. Which game version are you on? (found in the credits or on the main menu)
  2. Can you complete other scenarios normally? (If all else fails, you can simply unlock all scenarios in the settings)
  3. This is a common complaint and is being worked on, see #17718.
  4. For screenshots of a whole park, please use the 'giant screenshot' functionality. Then you can make a screenshot of the whole park at the closest zoom level. Even the layout of some coasters is too difficult to see like this.
  5. You've selected the RCT1 installation folder while you need to select your RCT2 installation. You can link RCT1 afterwards.
  6. The issue has been fixed (by using 64-bit total ride value instead of 16-bit).
  7. With Gymnasiast having left the dev team and me barely playing OpenRCT2 anymore, you probably won't get much detailed OpenRCT2 info on this forum anymore, I'll give a warning to the other devs but that's about as much as I can do. GitHub issues are probably the best way to get detailed help with a long turnaround time, as discord (being the official support channel) tends to drown these discussions. One last thing to try: launch the game from explorer (that is, not using the launcher, save or autosave to open the game, just double-click the .exe or .com file).
  8. Thanks for the detailed investigation. I've reported it here: #19292
  9. If you pressed 'Ja', the report should have been automatically submitted to the GitHub issue tracker and there's not much left to do unless you know the cause. You could for example try running it without any plugins or custom objects to see if that makes any difference, or switch to the release build as long as the issue persists.
  10. Your RCT1 save is not on the CD, it just doesn't do that. If you still have the PC you played it on, find the file in your installation directory with the most recent modification date (inside the program files folder) and copy that to the exact same location in your new RCT1 installation.
  11. Looks like you got the scenarios working, but those require just the scenario files. Check the options, 5th(?) tab, there's a path to your RCT1 installation at the bottom. Does it (correctly) specify the path to your RCT1 installation directory?
  12. I just checked your park and guests are simply starving for cash (with no cash machines available to refill their pockets) and because of that getting sad and likely leaving faster than they come in. Lower your prices to keep guests in your park for longer.
  13. I had a look at the code and compared it with v0.1.0. Except for some refactoring, I can't spot any differences. What version do you consider old enough to still have a non-broken guest generation?
  14. I've never heard about wider paths allowing more guests, they'll only use one side anyways. All my parks have single-wide paths and function without problem. When looking for stuff to improve, first look at guests' thoughts. Complaints there usually means there's something you can do to make guests happier and less likely to leave. The park rating is a good indicator when something is really messed up in your park. Only when everything's alright and you've let the park run for some time and reached the soft guest cap (use ads to reach it faster and temporarily ignore the limit), adding more rides will help boost the guest count (it also comes with a temporary park rating boost). If you want to know the park rating and guest cap counts precisely, there are plugins for that.
  15. In the options menu, first tab. On the main menu, this can be found in the top-right corner.
  16. Does it still occur if you disable all plugins? They might have worked properly before, but may have been broken in an update.
  17. Perhaps the linked discord server doesn't exist anymore. Information about the official OpenRCT2 discord can be found here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2#chat (though I'd recommend looking for a community-run server for more extensive casual OpenRCT2 chatter, such as DKMP or NEDesigns)
  18. What is the admission price if you (temporarily) enable 'pay for entry' in the cheats or scenario options?
  19. There should be no need to re-install OpenRCT2. If you use the launcher (not sure about the new launcher by IntelOrca), you can specify the RCT2 install location in the launcher options. Otherwise, either wipe the config.ini file in you OpenRCT2 documents folder, or open it and clear the RCT2 install location line (to preserve your other settings). OpenRCT2 should automatically find RCT2 installations in default locations if none is specified in the config file, or ask you if it fails.
  20. The new behaviour is described in #18713. That includes trim brakes before the block brake that will only operate if the block brake is closed. Does that explain it better to you?
  21. If you need to use block sections without the train slowing down, you can already use the up-to-flat track piece with chainlift you'd normally use at the top of a lifthill.
  22. This feature will be implemented soon. Though be warned, if the block ahead is closed, it will only release with the same speed as it currently does.
  23. How did you install OpenRCT2? Did you use a launcher (if yes, which one?) or did you download it directly from the site? If all else fails, downloading the build you want from openrct2.io is the only official way and should always work properly.
  24. The game tries to pull scenarios, tracks and maybe some other stuff from a variety of places when you first launch OpenRCT2, but you might need to specify the RCT1 path in the settings to fully access all imported RCT1 features.
