  1. Hi Hannah, Welcome to our website! I hope you enjoy the game! If you have any ideas for either the website or the game, make sure to let us know
  2. In addition to that, I'm not sure the 2.0 version that's going to be released will have a steam sub. Pfckrutonium will know
  3. For the multiplayer stuff, the developer builds (0.0.4 at the moment) are usually more stable than the stable build. What systems are you both running? Have you both installed the original RCT2 game? (either via CD, Gog, Steam or something entirely else) How are you running OpenRCT2? Have you downloaded it from a zip file, are you using a launcher, ...?
  4. Yeah, try downloading the launcher on openrct.net. It will magically download and update the game for you. If that doesn't work let me know. For people who are reading this in the future, the launcher will probably have moved to openrct2.org
  5. Hi! Welcome on our website
  6. Oh you're right, it is indeed in the latest builds I must have made a mistake
  7. It's not in the recent builds because not everyone agrees on the option.
  8. You don't need wine anymore. Check this out: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/wiki/Getting-packaged-versions
  9. Hi welcome! If you have any questions, use the search function, or create a topic. Have fun!
  10. It will be possible to compile to most platforms in the future. However right now, you need a windows (x86 to be more precise) 'executable' files. (not really, but that's the easy way to say it) The problem with those is that it doesn't run on all processors. As soon as everything is rewritten, it may be possible to compile to android. This will however mainly be for tablets I think since the gui is (at the moment) quite small for mobile phones.
  11. You probably all got the "desync detected" message. This means your games aren't running the same anymore as on the server. This also means you're all playing a different game. Your changes will get pushed to the other players, but small things like money or the guest AI will differ. Best thing you can do when you get the message is disconnect from the server and reconnect. This way you get the 'newest' correct version of the park
  12. Wow that's beautiful! Keep up the good work!
  13. No problemo, you're welcome. Enjoy the game
  14. Hmm, I think that means one of your objects is invalid. I think --verbose will show you which file makes it crash. If it doesn't, you can try adding your custom object in batches of 10 or 20 and test the game each times you've added some. If it crashes, you know the problem lies in one of those 10 or 20 files.

Hi, could you maybe explain your idea a bit better? I don't quite understand.
  16. While the second statement is not true (the error will only show up when the OpenRCT2 version is different) I do really recommend buying the official game. It's only a few dollars or euros (G2A, Steam, GOG) and it offers you years of fun. Anyhow, make sure you're both running either the newest Stable version, or the newest develop version. As soon as that's the case, everything should work correctly. If it doesn't, buy the game and open another topic, we don't like giving support to cracked players.

    Hello

Bonjour! Welcome to our website. If you want to help translating, you should contact @Gymnasiast, he's the translation-boss
  18. Hi, I've made an Issue on the github page for your second bug: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/2579 You'll be able to follow the process on that page. I think the first one is already known. I do have a question: which version are you running?
  19. If it says that, it means the master server (which keeps the list of all servers) can't reach your server. In theorie, it's possible to play, but other players won't be able to connect since your port is not open. Have you opened your port properly? Does your provider allow portforwarding? Maybe your provider blocks certain port numbers? Are you sure you've opened the right port?
  20. You will need one saved game. Then you can just start a new server from in-game. It will ask the savegame you want in your server and everything should work. Keep in mind that multiplayer is still work in progress and it will remain that way for quite some time.
  21. Wow, I love the modular building. It seems like it's even better than in RCT2 (mainly because it's real 3D, but still ). Simcity 2013 was also advertised as having modular building, but they didn't do it right I feel like PC is going to be awesome
  22. Oh I like your entrance area, nicely done. Everytime I try something like that, I end up with bits and pieces that don't really fit in
  23. Hey, welcome to our website. I hope you enjoy the game If you encounter any bugs or have any ideas, make sure to let us know

    Hello!

    Hi welcome to our website
  25. I agree that the website could use some small elements, but not in the degree .net used them. Also, I've experimented with the grass-background and it's always ugly in my opinion It only fits in the game itself
