  1. Download the zip on the artifacts tab, unzip it and run openrct2.exe
  2. The builds on the website are broken, like janisosaur has said in countless other topics, download it from the CI: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/IntelOrca/openrct2-ject9 I'll reply on these topics when it has been solved and you can download it again from the launcher or from the website.
  3. Yep, the builds on the website are currently broken due to a change in the building process. Please download this one in the meantime: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/IntelOrca/openrct2-ject9 I'll reply on these topics when the builds on the website are working again
  4. Yeah it's not really the official website, but I get your confusion. At the moment, all new builds are broken due to a change in the building mechanism. Please get your build here: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/IntelOrca/openrct2-ject9 I'll post a reply on these topics when it's fixed and you can download it again from the website.
  5. What official site? The official site doesn't offer builds. Janisozaur means the automated builds by appveyor I think.
  6. Hi, welcome! Enjoy your stay :-)
  7. It's build 1679 on openrct2.com, here: https://openrct2.com/download/1679 But it is better to download the newest one: https://openrct2.com/download/latest
  8. What website? Openrct2.com or openrct2.org? The builds on the new website (.org) are outdated at the moment So for now, please get your builds on https://openrct2.com/download
  9. 1) As soon as you have one item on a certain height, you can build multiple items on the same height by holding ctrl while hovering above said item. 5) Can be made as custom scenery I guess, or would you like to see a full firework editor? Would be a great mix when paired with the day-night cycle though 6) This is not hard to do, but impossible. OpenRCT2 does not use real 3D, so we can't change the point of view. 8) Do you mean diagonal paths? This is already possible with some workarounds. 11) That's where the televisions are for, although I don't know for certain that they actually do something 12) & 13)Copy/paste (and probably saving) of scenery pieces is on the roadmap 15) That would only give one reason more to peeps to complain D: 18) This is, again, doable with custom objects. 19) This is on the roadmap 21) Snow would be near to impossible since we would need a snow-version of every sprite in the game. 22) There are some custom swimming pool rides downloadable on the interwebz 30) Not really possible because the way coloring works. 31) On the roadmap, also that transportation rides are actually used as transportation rides. 32) This would indeed be pretty cool
  10. They should show in the create scenario window. OpenRCT2 looks for scenarios at the same place as RCT2 does so...
  11. Hi, what do you mean with too fast? Is it possible to record it and post the video here? Also, what are the specs of your computer? Resolution of your monitor?
  12. Note to self: the header is wrong and the menu is not clickable on mobile because the logo is above it. Also, on mobile, the white space left and right of the photo should be removed.
  13. It's should've been fixed, the new download should be live within a few minutes. https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/commit/24a796c3bc9167faa35bc87717d5c72e5bd85eb3 Edit: it's live! https://openrct2.com/download/latest openrct2 (1).zip
  14. When playing a new game, or when playing the same saved game? It's possible the saved game became corrupt.
  15. The launcher will get a total makeover soon so you can try it again when it has been released. I also think someone else (janisozaur or lrflew, I don't quite remember) is working on another launcher which should work on Windows, OSX and Linux. So it might get better in the future
  16. Yes it's an error in the latest build. Please download an older version at the moment to play. Developers are working on it.
  17. Can you try this one: https://mega.nz/#!LooV0IDS!uC2iF1xLKl1CKv8CrkY80TEsnwLgX0m1tZ_-PQo_TeU ?
  18. Hmm something goes wrong while downloading the game. update.zip is the filename the launcher gives the game while updating Can you try downloading the zip manually from openrct2.com? Your browser might actually tell you what goes wrong. If that does work, unzip it in the bin folder and restart the launcher. That should then work
  19. The Launcher stub acutally replaces the vanilla rct2.exe file with a 'pre'-launcher which made you choose between RCT2 and OpenRCT2. This way, Steam was able to count your played timed, even when playing OpenRCT2.
  20. This is actually an original bug which was also in RCT2. My fix was to close the ride, wait until everyone was gone, and reopen the ride. It did the trick for me
  21. They're working on it. In the meantime, try installing an earlier version to play again.
  22. Yes, in the bin folder, multiple files should be created. One of them is openrct2.exe. If it doesn't exist, something is going wrong indeed.
  23. If only XP runs on the laptops, it might be a good idea to try Linux OpenRCT2 does run 100% on that. It is possible to make an XP build, but without networking and twitch support. We're also not officially supporting XP anymore because of obvious reasons. If you still want/need help with building it yourself, let uw know.
  24. If you're on the same network it's very simple. You (the server) and the friend (the client): You start the server and give you ip address to your friend. Your friend gives it in into OpenRCT2 (the Add Server button in the multiplayer window) and you can both start playing. You can get your local IP address by right clicking onto your network-icon and choosing Open Networkcentre (I"m not sure what it's called on an English windows machine). Once you're there, click on your connection. Click details Ipv4-address is the one you need. In case you're not on the same LAN network, it gets a bit more difficult. You'll have to open the port (default: 11753) and give your friend your external ip address. You can find your external ip address by visiting http://ip4.me/. If you need any more help, let us know
