  1. Hi there, welcome to our forums! Enjoy the game!
  2. Yep, I'm a huge fan too I've wasted a lot of hours on the game. The fact that you can download mods and custom content is also awesome, this way it's possible to make a city the way you really want. Muuuuuuch better than the latest SimCity
  3. Hey there welcome to the forums! As you might have seen, there are a lot of Dutch-speaking peeps on here (myself included )
  4. So you have RCT2 installed through Steam you mean? Run it at least once, download a zip from our download page and unzip is somewhere (doesn't really matter where), run the openrct2.exe and it SHOULD work. If it doesn't, let me know
  5. You do need to port-forward your port, we can't really help with that though since it's different for every ISP or router... Try contacting your ISP for help.
  6. Did you install the original RCT2 game before trying to run OpenRCT2? You need the original (for example on Steam, or even from an old CD) to play OpenRCT2.
  7. You can tell him to ask his ISP. Port-forwarding is different for every isp/router/modem so... For example, I used to do it on the page of my router (192.0.0.1 or something), but now I have to do it through the administration page of my ISP (mijn.telenet.be in my case)
  8. You don't need RCT1 to play the RCT1 scenarios, you need to download a scenario pack for RCT2 which contains remades of these RCT1 scenarios. I'm not sure which one is used the most, but this is an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/rct/comments/1h93gx/more_exact_recreations_of_rct1_scenarios_for_rct2/
  9. Nope, the red circle means that you're not running the same version. You either have to be both on 0.0.3, or both on 0.0.4. (and same build is even better )
  10. The limits are going to be removed, that's for sure. And yes, there's also a plan to create a scenery save/cut/paste/copy/etc function
  11. Hi there, welcome to our forums!
  12. Weird... It should never ask for a CD when playing through OpenRCT2, not even when you're actually using a CD install
  13. Please don't post any errors or wrong stuff using an old build. It's very possible the thing has been fixed by now. It would be great if you retried your experiment with the newest build. If it still happens, then something is indeed wrong
  14. It would be prettier if the islands were 'real' instead of blocks
  15. Yes that's possible. You can ask any questions on the dev chat: https://gitter.im/OpenRCT2/Localisation
  16. Start building above ground, go underground, build your stuff, create a station, right click on the first one and click the demolition button until where you're under the ground, then build your station/rail until it's connected. This should work I don't think it's possible with coasters from a template.
  17. There are no workarounds at the moment for desyncs and it's something we'll have to live with now. When the game has been fully made (and doesn't use old game commands anymore) desyncs will not happen anymore
  18. The Launcher indeed uses an old website which doesn't exist anymore. It will be updated soon
  19. Hi and welcome! In case you also make RCT2 stuff, we're opening a content page (a bit like Steam Workshop) soon where you can upload anything you've made iac, Enjoy the game
  20. Are you using Windows, OSX or Linux? In case of windows it's very easy, just download the OpenRCT2 Launcher.application file from the downloads pages and run it. It should install launch a few seconds later.
  21. Also, I've merged your topics together since it's basically the same error
