  1. Oh, i was definitely mistaken then. I saw someone say it's not possible on discord, they must have been wrong.
  2. Also, the game's pretty expensive if you want all the full content. 6$ for the base game, plus 2$ for each expansion pack and another 6$ for the ride designer, scenario designer, and import/export tool.
  3. I think so, but I'm not sure. It definitely can't open .SV6 files with custom content and auto-install it, even if the save has the objects exported with it.
  4. Correction: This is the port Chris Sawyer was working on with 31X. It was only published by Atari.
  5. Saw this on reddit. Giga and steel twister now have LIM launch track sprites!
  6. ...you do realize the trolls will be able to see this and know that you're going under a new name, right? Even if they don't, what makes you think they're targeting your servers exclusively? They probably go around trolling several popular servers, and as soon as you bring your server back, they're likely to just attack your server under its new name.
  7. Wow looks like Broxzier is doomed to take turns over and over until someone from the missed turn list grabs it
  8. I saw it last night. I thought at first this was the result of Chris Sawyer's RCT2 port to mobile, until I saw the publisher was Atari. I haven't tried it yet. It looks like Atari might have finally come up with something good, though. Also I noticed an easter egg in the screenshots on the app store: Chris S.=Chris Sawyer Simon F.=Simon Foster
  9. You also need to have your port forwarded, if you haven't already.
  10. Simon Foster (the graphic designer of RCT 1&2) used Autodesk 3D Studio Max, but that's probably too expensive for you.
  11. This has been discussed before. OpenRCT2 does not have any viruses, and if someone tried to slip a virus into the coding, the OpenRCT2 devs would spot it and block it.
  12. How about he say that the mansion and the grounds around it are on the national list of historic places and therefore the player doesn't own that land?
  13. Why don't you upload some pictures of your work and point out what you don't like about it so we know where you stand and how you can improve?
  14. I like the first one, with the tent roof piece. The other one doesn't really feel like a balcony to me.
  15. There are some CS objects that are lit from the left. Those objects are wrong.
  16. This looks amazing. Maybe you could find a way to generate the shading based on the direction the light is coming from and how it is reflected off of track pieces?
  17. We didn't make the object editor, so there's little we can do to help. Try contacting the original creator of the object editor to see if he can help.
  18. I'm the config file (maybe the options menu as well but I'm not sure) there's an option to turn off coaster crashes on test mode.
  19. Desync is way less serious that many people seem to think. All it means that the park between the affected client and the server isn't exactly the same, and this is usually due to minor randomized factors such as coaster speed loss and peep positioning. Theoretically, the randomization systems should give the same output for being under the exact same conditions, but this is not always the case in practice. Just ignore the desync message and keep playing.
  20. It doesn't matter whether or not you have the expansions, as only vanilla RCT2 objects are allowed.
  21. The problem is that the existing community of free for all builders makes it hard for us hosters to want to host serious realism when most of the people who join just wanna build unrealistic clusterfucks. Even if you specifically name your server as "serious realism" or something like that, you can have all the warnings you want but the majority of people are just gonna build low effort content anyway.
  22. Why not make it Exodus themed then.
