Foreigners? OpenRCT2 doesn't have any national country and if they did - It would probably be the Neatherlands
-
Would rather have the cheat to be local so only you can get conflicted with it

Game Crashes When Starting A Save/Server
Nubbie replied to destroyerofcomedy's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Would recommend posting issues on GitHub so more devs can see it https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/new- 1 reply

This is extremely late but I recommend discussing most stuff over on gitter and make Github issues, the problem of course is that many people have ideas but it's a small team so making a PR about the specific idea/issue would be the best to get it into the game the quickest
-
At the same time isnt the forum ment to point fingers at specific individuals Stuff that's going on the server ain't something the admins/devs can do anything about and is hard to stop Ideas to stop/make it harder for greifing/trolling would be better

What is wrong with the community? I need ideas.
Nubbie replied to wolfreak_99's topic in Multiplayer Discussion
Seem like it has shifted a bit upwards again the couple months that has passed, presume the player statistics are 'like a roller coaster' ;p -
Its been discussed a bit how to temporarily solve de-syncs but most got de-voted Adding a reconnect feature got devoted from how it could be abused and non bandwidth friendly Having the server wait to let clients catch up would annoy the community with servers with more players Its being worked on solving de-sync problems and quite a few have been bashed
-
You mean like a list of all the stuff happening over the servers in total? Or having statistic about in-game stuff on servers, money is counted spend by each player for example
-
A bit of a common problem with ghost entrances indeed
-
You can mute them by handing out the permission that restricts chat https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/4160 Being worked on (By logging all actions by players in a file) https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/3946 Been worked on but at hold right now

@Coldstream Welcome to OpenRCT2, hope you enjoy the game You can't donate money but there are some ways you could be helping out: Wanna help out behind the scenes with programming, bug reports, commenting, discussion etc with developers: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2 Wanna help out with translations of the game: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/Localisation Wanna support people in chats, discuss with devs etc: https://gitter.im/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/non-dev <- Non developer chat (issues can pop up etc) https://gitter.im/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2 <- Developer chat Want to help out in the community, then you could be around the forums, reddit site and more, commenting helping out, communicating etc

@primebro Most devs are on GitHub and bugs/crashes should be reported there, link to the site: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/new If the game hard crashes, it should provide something called 'dump files' with the extension .dump - One example of it is '778e2b8c-01e2-457a-9f4a-12960911e42a(bb07785).dmp' which is the best tools to figure out what went wrong, did it create any dump files? (A window should prompt up telling you where to find it etc)
-
There is a GitHub issue about it so the devs know https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/4160
-
Has been suggested before, there are some props you can place down that looks like tables etc if you dig around for mods The peeps just cant use them tho right now, require some changes
-
@COASTERGUY246The command should be ' rides set friction ' which you could find where it originated from https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/3820 But I think a new update broke that command, the update in question is https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/4176 Will test this and make a issue on GitHub if that's the case Edit; Even tho I reverted back to a older version, I couldn't seem to solve it.. doesn't seem like it's broken But it looks like the command is something with rides set friction
-
Why would we even want to go back into RCT1? They are almost as identical? Would be better to add features to RCT1 into OpenRCT2 Also, you could always start your own OpenRCT1 development
-
Which coaster is hardest for you to build with?

A lot of features and other stuff from RCT1 is getting imported into OpenRCT2, for example, you could load RCT1 saves in OpenRCT2
