  1. That problems seems to occur more and more. It's to do with corrupted map data and is not easy to fix.The devs are still looking in how this problem is caused, but it's really hard to find the issue because we don't know yet. If you know anything you've done between the last save working save and the now corrupt one would be helpful.

    They look right to me, these spirals on the right side of the last screenshot are going up.
  4. Could be, but I doubt it though, and since it's not being used anywhere in the decompiled code we can't tell for sure. I don't think the water colours are hardcoded anywhere, they are pallets that are in your objdata folder. You can even have custom pallets in the folder that the game can use.
  5. I'm not really following what you mean, I tried building a maze with your instructions, but can't quite see what you mean exactly. Could you make some screenshots or a step by step guide to reproduce this?

    Biiiiig coasters! Great stats though, I like how these racing coasters have the same value for some stats.The scenery near the entrance and to the right of the entrance towards the first big coaster looks really good, nice and full. I hope you used some trick to keep all flowers watered? :P
  8. Thanks, I agree. :P There are too few normal and thrill rides though, and the train track can still use one station. Perhaps one near the bridge or something. There's also still a lot of space to build these kinds of small perks, let's just see how far we can push things. :P
  9. And I'm finished. I made a path over the mountain in which Diamond Hunter is built. Near that path I added two new rides, a maze and a second pirate ship, and two stalls, burgers and drinks.   11. That wouldn't be possible until the game is completely on its own, since it will not be compatible with the current saved game files. Right now it's just one type of path decoration per footpath piece, and with a system like that you'll need to store more information.

  14. From a user's point of view it's very confusing which site is 'official'. Even now I'm still not sure if there even is one, and which it would be. It would be nice if there's one central place (openrct2.website?) that links to the community and builds.

  16. Alright, I just managed to get both of these things to work in a test park, here's a screenshot of them working:View imageIt took a while to figure out how it works, but it's quite easy. You'll have to edit the memory while the game is running (can be paused), and change the specific parts that determine which entrance type it is (apparently there are 4, one for each side). Then it's a matter of trial and error to get the right one.As for invisible paths you'll have to set a certain flag to FF to make the game not draw it, while it's actually still there. After that I placed rapid river stairs there with clearance checks disabled.I used this topic for guidance, however I did use Cheat Engine to edit the memory. WinHack doesn't seem to run on 64-bit machines at all, and Cheat Engine has a much clearer interface in my opinion.I'll probably keep playing around with it, but it'll take some time for me to get really familiar with it. Until then I'll not be able to make a good enough guide for it, since now it's still mostly trial-and-error.

  19. For some reason that screenshot reminds me of RCT1 a lot. I'm looking forward to see how it turns out!
  20. Looking good jensj. I've always liked compact coasters with good ratings, and these look quite hard to make right. Latest addition to the micro park that I'm working on: Castle Racer\ The park is really close to being full. There's only a few empty spaces left, but still a lot of scenery work to do. The castle looks a bit empty now, especially the top roof. I'll see how I can improve it.This is the entire map at the moment:
  21. I like the entrance with the fountain, they look great! Also nice big main road, I assume you'll use the 4-tile big one as the main route through the entire map. The buildings look good too.

  23. I'm done with my turn. I didn't build any new rides, just a few stalls.   25. The Vintage Cars ride in that same scenario is using the same trick, but there the entrance and exit are visible. The way the peeps walk looks odd though.
