While building coasters does cost some time, by the time I have enough money to build big coasters the park rating drops barely in the time it takes. Just make sure guests are happy and the park is well-organised, then it should keep running properly without interupting your coaster building (and if it does need adjustments, you'll get a message).

Those can be directly imported if you've bought the RCT:Classic toolkit.

It's 2017 (happy new year everyone!) so submissions are closed now. Because I can't add a poll to an existing topic, voting happens as follows: Copy the list of submissions and add one to the item you want to vote for (and indicate what you voted for). One vote per forum account, invalid votes will be ignored. Skiing in the Snow - 0 Snow Mountain - 0 Christmas Tree - 0 Voting closes exactly one week after this post.

My attempt at building a Christmas Tree.td6: Tried to build as many branches as possible and them green on the top and bottom. I hope someone can improve this.

There were no big pathing issues to solve other than the exit mentioned, so I only build this coaster. Just pretend there's an elevator in the building. Name is in the screenshot. If you want to add more scenery to it, feel free to do so (note that there's a lot of invisible track around the tower). The path towards cannibal/excavateur may need to be doubled. When heading for a ride, guests always go to the nearest entrance. If at any point they get closer to the other entrance, they'll switch destination. @Madafaq Are most guests coming from the left of your screenshot? If not, try moving the start of the queue one tile to the right and see if it makes a difference.

Barrel Bombs isn't connected to the path at the exit, so I'm doing another call: do not build paths with clearance checks disabled. Claimed: jensj12 Queue: Wuis, Broxzier, Jochem, Philmon11 Missed: YoloSweggLord, TCE, imlegos, RedScope53, SensualEthiopianPolice, Cascadia,

Those are remakes. Diamond Heights has a spiral coaster instead of a steel mini

When will the drama and trolling issue be stopped?
jensj12 replied to birthdaybrian's topic in Multiplayer Discussion
Posting these issues here won't get it solved any faster. This is a community, not a company. If you can't take it, stop playing until there is a login system (or make it yourself). -

I've never seen adding more trains boost the intensity rating. How did you do that?

After a succesful compac coaster contest, I'd like to start a new one. Not really a compact coaster contest, but a Christmas Coaster Contest . The goal: build a holiday-themed coaster before the end of 2016. Rules: Maximum area: 12x16 tiles (including entrance, exit and paths). Only use rides/objects available in RCT2 and the expansions. Disabling clearance is only allowed for track merging and scenery. Modifying terrain is allowed, but only within those 192 tiles. Build at least one coaster. Use your common sense. Submitting: Post a nice screenshot/video here before the end of 2016. If possible, include a track file or save file. Do not submit another coaster within 24 hours of your last submission. (yes, multiple submissions are allowed, but remember, quality over quantity) Editing a submission is considered submitting a new submission. Judging: There'll be one week of voting after the contest is over. (that means I'll participate as well) Merry Christmas and happy building! If you want to, you can use this template to build your coaster: CCC2.sc6

Two suggestions: The trees on the mountain could use a bit more variation. The supports on the yellow/black hanging coaster look a bit strange, as if you want to crush their feet into the supports. Take a look at sixflag MM for an example.

The delta would have been a nice place to be if there weren't that many attractions Claimed: - Queue: @Jochem, Broxzier, Wuis, Cascadia Missed: YoloSweggLord, Philmon11, TCE, imlegos, RedScope53, SensualEthiopianPolice, jensj12

In the console (open with the key left of '1') type 'set no_test_crashes 1'. If that doesn't work, type help in the console and follow instructions.

cant find rct2 triple thrill pack
jensj12 replied to Hoodiebud's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Make sure you've downloaded RCT2TTP first, then, in steam, right-click RCT2, properties and go to the local files tab. Then click browse local files and it should tell you where you can find your rct2 files. -
Tips to keep multiplayer desync from happening?
jensj12 replied to xor1337's topic in General Discussion
The RNG (random number generator) is synced across the network, so everything should be exactly the same. As long as the RNG remains in a synced state, the game remains synced (if not, the RNG will go out of sync soon). If it's out of sync, the guests walk in different positions and money can be slightly off. Anything built by players will remain synced. -
No need to mention me (deleting those @ every time is quite time consuming ) Claimed: - Queue: Broxzier, Wuis, cascadia, jensj12 Missed: YoloSweggLord, Philmon11, TCE, imlegos, RedScope53, SensualEthiopianPolice

No pathfinding issues or other issues that take a while to fix, so it is done already: a third 'delta' ride! Two rides have been closed for having issues with safety cut-outs, meltdown and underground blast both failed to reach the station after a breakdown. Coulnd't manage to not find a bug, but I'm not yet in the mood to report it. Car one (and only 1) of one of the chairlifts quintupled itself. Claiming! Will be done in a few hours

Updating the game is as easy as downloading it for the first time. Just download it and install it over the old installation. I highly recommend using the launcher for this to make sure you're always on the latest build. Just download and install (or just extract if you choose the .zip) the launcher for your oprating system: https://github.com/LRFLEW/OpenRCT2Launcher/releases

If you're on the latest develop build, the toilet flush sound volume has already been decreased by 60%(?). If not, try updating or wait for the next release build. This is the PR that changed it: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/4642

Seems like I've found a compact coaster competitor. GJ! Designs mostly look good to me (of what I can see of it), just not a fan of the random abstract theming

I'll try to do something on friday, if not it'll have to wait another week.
