Transport rides from as we build our park. Whoever builds a station first can decide the location of the station, though if stations are too close to each other, one of them might end up as ghost station. It is also possible to let the main transport ride only go over the mainland and add a few chairlifts to cover the mountains. I'd vote for a hanging monorail this park.

More supports? Where? I went for a building you'd find deep in the forest, so the brown matches quite nicely. Some more colorful trees and other buildings/attractions should help against the brown looks. Remember my horrible first building(s)? Practice makes better. Just copy others to start with

Someone decided to shorten my free time by about 4 hours without warning, so this will be it for today: Made calm pond a complete loop to prevent the boats getting stuck Added bins and benches and hired an extra handyman (guests were already complaining about litter) Opened Green Machine (didn't have time to destroy it) Recolored the umbrella's Built Hardwood House (name subject to change). As always , a nice (lots of airtime) and calm (avg. speed of 12 km/h) ghost train ride near the entrance, but hidden behind some trees. If the hacked parts of the ride look really bad, just tell me and I'll make them visible again. Trying to Build rollercoasters crash my game

The dump files are NOT created when an assertion fails. If the game creates those, it'll tell you what to do with it. @GameKirby can you post the version number and commit ID (visible on the lower left corner of the main menu) -

There's a clear definition of 'big coasters' in the rules: anything that can't make a 90 degree turn on a single tile. Only coasters that allow the standard wild mouse coaster designs are not considered big coasters.

I came back from Russia a few days ago, so I can join (wow, that list is long). Anything within the rules is allowed, but an entrance area would be nice (if you need inspiration, look at real theme parks or the other group parks). Just try to be creative

The trees in the flat section really look like placeholders to me and honestly I hope they will be used as placeholders. 'I don't know what to build so I just plant a lot of trees' isn't the goal of this project. Other than that, I'd call this experiment a great succes. The terrain can still be changed massively as we build our park (at least I'll do).

Some quick testing: Backstage drop gets stuck The villain (still) gets stuck and crashes The number of guests wanting to go home or feeling lost has massively decreased since #4221 (in V2.91 this increased the park rating by 600, but only 50 in V2.93) The park needs more toilets and food/drink stalls, but not many can be added until the ride limit is raised

The reverse freefall coaster accelerates on any straight, non-diagonal flat track piece (also on other track types), no matter what vehicle or operating mode it uses. Other coasters will never accelerate on the reverse freefall straight piece, no matter what operating mode it is in or what vehicle it has. I just tested it (not extensively, had to test other new features as well). Starting a coaster as reverse freefall and changing the vehice and track (by disabling clearance checks and a second coaster) type of it allows you to build launch pieces. But then any flat straight piece will do so. -
I'm not really in favor of one person designing the entire general terrain (most of us don't like editing terrain later on and I'd like to see the entire group park community to have their influence on it). I proposed something that might fix that, but it seems others didn't particularly like that either. Basically we need a good idea to get the terrain setup going (and don't expect me to do anything the next 10 days).

Using some different trees on the sides will already make it look less repetitive, or making nice rows of trees in other places near the entrance too might even make it look like it's meant to be like this, but the random trees on the inside suggest it's not. Other than that, awesome building!

You need to select the installation directory for RCT2, not OpenRCT2.

Map glitching in Whiskey Station server

It just doesn't draw anything there which means that anything that was visible there remains visible until something else is drawn over it. The map edges are corrupt which causes the terrain walls to disappear. Making the map one tile bigger and smaller fixes it. -
Easy way to make diagonal fences?

An easier way will be implemented in the tile inspector. Currently, using terrain is the only way to do it. Note: diagonal is not the same as slanted. For diagonal fences you'll need a new piece of scenery. -
Welcome Culbrelai! In the options, there's a scale factor setting (or similar). Put this at x2.0 and everything will be twice as big. Still, an extra zoom level would be helpful for this to prevent double scale UI. Guests do use free transport rides now as transport rides (except elevators), but they don't check if it brings them any closer to their goal. Peep AI will be revamped somewhere in the future, so they may actually use it at some point.

If at any time you need a coaster in a very small area of the park, send the park file to me (with instructions) and I'll build something for you (if I can find the time to do it). I'm not the best with scenery, but I can copy things from other area's and make it match nicely with the coaster.

Title sequence parks may not contain anything from the expansions or CS, so in this case vanilla is just the base game without WW/TT.

Do you know how to open the console? (enable debugging tools first) Beyond that, I don't know either. Use 'help' and 'help [command]' (replace [command] with a command shown in 'help') in the console and it should help you finding what you need.

Private keys are used internally to identify you. Since generating a new one creates a random key, you have no chance to get your old key back if you've lost it. If you do generate a new key, you'll lose your current key (with which you probably gained some rights after the reset) as well.

I like that proposal. I won't be able to help with that anywhere in the next 3 weeks, but I don't mind as I'm not afraid to drastically change the landscape later on if that fits my stuff better
