Longer waiting times/queues: Guests complain 'Store' many guests More guests ride while it's raining Shorter waiting times/queues: Happy guests More favs for that ride (if too short) More not-fully loaded trains I don't know any other ways to make guests complain less in queues. Shorter queues, tv's and entertainers seems to be the only option.

If it's within the rules, it's allowed (possibly discouraged, idk). Just try to keep the number of custom objects limited.

The park can be terraformed again while building, the current landscape is by no means final. For the naming, use whatever you'd like, though I'd prefer english (no problem with foreign languages in themed areas) and no name tags.

Rough Lag When Placing a New Track
jensj12 replied to SleetFire's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
I haven't noticed any lag the last time I built something. Can you try different graphics settings (render engine, build marker), and if it makes any difference, post which one lags for you? -
Can't make use of elevated entrace/exit
jensj12 replied to giraty's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Please stop discussing the usefulness of it. The problem is that is doesn't work. Putting vehicles in different locations works just fine (and guests sometimes walk a long way to get there, even through buildings and terrain). I've never seen entrance huts decoupled from their station, so I have no idea if it could work. -
The example breaks both rule 1 and 2 (2 coasters and 2 tracked rides). I'd vote for keeping the rules as stated and modifying the example.

Looks good, but I wonder what's in the black area.

Not a fan of custom objects, but a few simple things won't hurt (like GP3). The game still throws all custom objects in one folder, and I'd like to keep it somewhat cleaned up. I fully agree with the GP4-like terrain start.

Sneak Preview of Official 0.0.5 Title Sequence
jensj12 replied to Spacek's topic in General Discussion
Go to the title sequence editor, open the sequence and load the parks from there. -

Any scenery replacement/addition is welcome, as I have no idea how to decorate such a big coaster. The OpenRCT2 Group Park 4.68.sv6

It's Lightwater Valley. https://www.lightwatervalley.co.uk/pages/the-ladybird

If you've asked it before, please reply in that thread instead of making a new one. If the bug has been in a stable version of the game, it will show up in the changelog once it's fixed. Check the github issue tracker to find the report and if it's still open, it isn't fixed yet.

The speed difference between fully loaded and empty trains is quite big. Lighther trains slow down faster. On coasters the speed difference is about 5-10km/h in the end.

I tried to build a switchback rollercoaster with block sections but one of the blocks doesn't open and I don't know why. If someone can fix it I'll keep the coaster. The higher parts will be hidden with the tile inspector. The OpenRCT2 Group Park 4.64.sv6

Any way to keep attractions opened up after crashing?
jensj12 replied to OpenRCT2's topic in General Discussion
I know. I just don't want to recommed using cheats (unless I know someone is building a sandbox park). -

The best option is to demolish and rebuild the entire ride. I've seen a manual recommend changing the name, but I doubt it helps it all. Rebuilding parts of the ride doesn't renew it's age, age is only renewd constantly if the ride hasn't been opened yet. -
The steam version of RCT1 comes with a full digital instruction booklet. Couldn't stop myself from reading it.

Crooked houses were never able to hold more than 5 guests. With 3 buildings it can hold 15, but then (un)loading takes more time than waiting till the house is finished. Building more crooked houses is the only option.

Where do you suggest announcing it? I surely have some idea's for more crazy coaster contests.

Forgot about it for a while, but we have a winner! I proudly present to you that @Broxzier has made the best holiday themed park/coaster! Best wishes for 2017 and happy coaster building! Next contest will start somewhere between now and a few years. (@broxzier if you want to run it, send me a PM)

Built a small attraction hidden in the mountain and added/renamed toilets. Claimed: Queue: @Wuis, Broxzier, Cascadia, jensj12 Missed: YoloSweggLord, TCE, imlegos, RedScope53, SensualEthiopianPolice , Jochem, Philmon11 The OpenRCT2 Group Park 4.61.sv6
