I'm doing a recreation right now of a real life park, and this would be really useful for changing the roof type of buildings (just ran into having to click on quarter tile roof pieces to delete them all just to change the type). It would be a really useful feature for sure, but we'll have to see if someone more knowledgeable can tell us if its possible with the code. After all, this game is so effing efficient you could run it on a shower curtain, but the code and save format limits some things.

The TIME RANGE option would permit you to set up the months during when a park would be open.
The OPERATION HOURS option would set the time range (from opening time to closing time) for each day.
An option for TIME DISPLAY FORMAT would set the displyed time in either CUSTOMARY (12-hour halves, with AM/PM—12:00-12:59 MN; 1:00-11:59 AM; 12:00-12:59 HN; 1:00-11:59 PM) or INTERNATIONAL (24-hour consecutive notation, from 0:00 to 23:59) mode.
The notation for year designation (as Year 1, Year 2, ...) would need to be retained.
Example 1: A temperate zone park (like one that would be located in Maine, Ohio, Kansas, or Alaska) would be set to open during late March—late October; with hours being from 12:00 HN—8:00 PM Sunday—Thursday, and from 10:00 AM—10:00 PM Friday—Saturday.
Example 2: A subtropical zone park (like one that would be located in Florida, Texas, California, or Hawaii) would be set to open from January to December; with hours being from 12:00 HN—9:00 PM Sunday—Thursday, and from 10:00 AM—12:00 MN Friday—Saturday.
Please read the whole thread, and look at some of the links above. While it would be a cool feature, I'm not sure it would improve gameplay.

This is a bit off-topic, but did someone else report that it causes issues other than the other thread I posted? Still trying to figure out if my issue is a bug or park specific...
Back on topic: I'm going to make an entrance building around the existing entrances. If it ends up sucking, we can delete it. -

I'm just not sure it's a bug, which is why I don't want to go that route yet. I tried to reproduce it in a different park of mine with no luck.

The error messages you were getting were from the helicopter ride, which is invisible. The "disable support limits" cheat has to be turned on in order to make that ride, and when its turned off, you cant move the ground because it messes with the supports.

Okay, further update here, this time with screenshots. Now, I have an entrance back at the original location, and have peeps piling up in seemingly random places. Can someone please explain how the pathing algorithms work and how I can fix this from happening?
People Pile! All of them want to leave the park.

@Broxzier, I shouldn't have built a coaster again on my last turn either.... sorry about that. I looked around and couldn't think of anything else to build. You'll see something different out of me on my next turn.

Okay, final update. I added back the entrance at the original location, and the peeps left, with no issues whatsoever. It seems like this is a bug in the sandbox mode, in that the peeps don't see the revised location of the park entrance.

Well, I'm not feeling super creative today, so I just added a small magic carpet ride with the cheesiest name I could think of. Also, this park is getting a bit full.... might be time to start thinking about the next group park.
