Take your time, I tested the idea I had and it failed, so I need to come up with something else...

There are some servers with different server/client communication, this is indicated by a different server/network version to prevent undifined behaviour (interpretation of data is different). If you can't access it with both the stable and development build, it's hosted in a custom build (not an official build from the website) and for testing purposes only. The game might recieve an update sometime to include the new communication protocols.

Thannks YSL, submission accepted! Congratulations on beating the highest exitement rating record, though I'm sure it's still possible to do better

Shuttle coasters are allowed, but switchbacks are not with the current rules (the wooden switchback recreation I made once crashed the entire game). Not everyone knows about these cheats, so I restricted the use of them to make it a fair competition to anyone.

The problem with the title music is that applications don't have write access to program files. Either install RCT2 somewhere else (try running as administrator first) or copy the music file manually (if that's possible).

Idea: Randomizing colors when first constructing a new ride/stall
jensj12 replied to Superjustinbros's topic in Ideas
I was more thinking of a preset menu in the color scheme window, complete with an option to add and remove presets (sometimes I want one of the other presets and I can't remember what it looks like). Building a new ride randomly picks one of the presets, including those the player added. -
@Philmon11 also blocked off a main path and added a replacement for it. Guests will get stuck on the original route, I'll see what I can do with that. (others can claim until I'm back at home tomorrow, which will be 20 hours from now)

Thanks Mattiator, submission accepted! You've got the highest exitement rating so far, keep up the good work!

I'll claim it tomorrow. I have plans for an attraction already, just not yet the time to build it. What should we do with the coasters @SensualEthiopianPolice placed? Leave them or destroy one of them (to be rebuilt in another turn)? And should I still move dark matter to a better-fitting location?

The chairlifts can be re-opened since the chairlift crash bug has been fixed

How to start building a park correctly?
jensj12 replied to MadRaven's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Is the problem that you can't make any money or that you don't know how to make it look nice? In case it's the latter, I can't help you (look at real parks instead and build out slowly), but for the former, here are my tips: One of the most important things is to not just build giant coasters right away, but start with a few flat rides and a small (but fun) rollercoaster. Don't be afraid to take max loan and managing your park is as important in a small park as it is in a big park. Try not to remove anything you've built for the first few years as it will likely only lower your bank account. Scenery only improves existing rides up to a limit while a new ride will always attract more guests, so don't go overboard with scenery. Where you put your paths isn't that important, as long as everything is connected and the walk distance for guests isn't much longer than it needs to be. -
Thanks mokman, submission accepted! Though I'm not a fan of non-chainlift pieces on the lifthill, there's nothing in the rules that prevents it (not even a small penalty). Other than that, I like how you mixed high and low parts to add some fun to it. I never managed to pull that off yet. Note to Broxzier, your timeout has expired now, so you can submit another coaster. I'm at 4/10 submissions now.

I'm fine with that, or reversed, feel free to revamp the garden theme and ride name as well if desired (or I'll do that once it's my turn again, but that may take a while). @ziscor, I saw you built some paths on wireframe land, remove the wireframe before building anything on it next time.
-
That one immediatly started updating the object cache and it worked. Please add 'a' to the end of the file name if you're reuploading the game with the same version number. The last one (3.06a) did have a proper file name, otherwise just add the .SV6 yourself.

I can't open the scenario because of the custom scenery item (xxfncl05). Are you sure you had 'export plug-in objects' enabled in the options? I like the theming though. As it looks now the guests will get stuck trying to find their way between those two rides. So moving either of those rides is now necessary.

In UCES there are already a lot of rail track pieces available as scenery (including junctions and other decorations), doing the same for other track types should be possible as well. Disable clearance checks if it gives problems with placement.

We could easily make some room for monorail supports by slapping a hole in the queue line, it's way too long anyways, but I'd rather have the monorail going directly behind the dinghy slide. The best solution in this case I think is moving the coaster (including scenery and some paths) further to the side of the park (and a few units higher or lower, just for fun ) so we can put something less thrilling with brighter colors there, but only if Dan agrees. Building without clearance checks: in general, don't, but please do if it helps you to create better scenery. On another note, the wireframe land means you can do with it whatever you'd like, don't be afraid to build (or only just start) a huge mountain or a small pit (leave at least 2 units below for extra paths that might be needed).

Yeah I'm fine with a happier theme. I wanted it to be less of a castle and more like a croocked house, but that failed. Do whatever you want to make it nicer. We can always revert it if it doesn't work out as well as the current theming . You can also recolor some parts of the ride if you want, I've only used 2/4 color schemes.

Huge thanks Brox, hopefully it's the last time you have to fix something I made
-
I meant the ride ratings, they were halved because the ride had no big drop (look at the github wiki for more on ride rating calculations). The difference in ride layout is minimal but the ratings were doubled. Hope you don't mind (feel free to revert it if you do).

I'd say luckily it had been patched. I hate heartline twisters, honestly. Anyways, submission denied for not meeting the exitement rating requirement. Better luck next time. @imlegos I've checked the coaster and it's indeed a visual bug. Slightly modifying the design made the exitement rating go over 5.5, so keep trying!
