  1. Deselect all owning options and you should be able to paint unowned land.
  2. There seems to be an issue with the game running in the background after playing a multiplayer game, which prevents updating the game. Reboot your computer and try again. If the problem persists, please report back.
  3. There you go. I could not find all of them however, but I got these. 171209-rct2-collabo-coors_park.zip 180109-rct2-collabo-baker_lake_amusement_park_v3.zip 171231-rct2-collabo-riverland.zip 150612-rctll-liampie-ride6-bigshootergill-[h2h7_r5]_seven_wonders_of_the_ancient_world.zip 151225-rct2-g_force-westwinds.zip 160105-rct2-collabo-busch_gardens_asia.zip 130930-rct2-pacificoaster-cedarpoint6-starpointe.zip 170720-rct2ww-theflowdiskord-shambhala.zip
  4. I can't help you accessing NE, maybe someone else still has idea's. In the meantime, if you really need something (and have enough names/screenshots/... to help us find it) you can post it here and maybe someone can download and attach it here.
  5. I can access that site just fine (from NL). Maybe the issue is related to the region you’re in.
  6. You may be running the 64-bit version of the game on a 32-bit computer. That won't work. Try to use the 32-bit (x86) version of the game to see if that works (if it works and you do have a 64-bit PC, the game should notify you).
  7. If you’ve opened those parks at least once, you have the objects installed. Then you can add them to any park you’d like. For that, enable debugging tools in the options, click and hold the gears in-game and select object selection. There you can select the objects to be used in your park.
  8. Go to the options (in the floppy disk drop down menu, or top-right on the main menu) and disable day/night cycling there. To be sure, you can also disable lightning effects, as that also seems to interfere with it sometimes.
  9. You can delete your current installation by (re)moving/renaming ...\Documents\OpenRCT2\bin. That should force the launcher to download a new version of the game. If that doesn't help, try other things like reinstalling the launcher, checking internet access and checking folder access (make sure the launcher can write to the mentioned folder).
  10. Are you on develop or release version of the game? Try to switch to develop (launcher settings).
  11. Yeah, it’s just a gimmick at the moment (which means it is provided as-is and may or may not function properly). Improvements would indeed be nice, but there are things that have a higher priority. If you really need it to be improved soon, code it yourself and submit a PR.

    Roofs

Try to open a save game that has them. This can done by downloading something from the internet (nedesigns.com for example, you can also download individual objects there) or joining a server. If you have individual objects, put them in .../documents/OpenRCT2/objects/ and you should be able to find them in-game.
  13. g2.dat is supplied with OpenRCT2. Reinstalling OpenRCT2 should fix this.
  14. Known issue, you can find it on github. For now, you can work around it by using patrol areas or waiting for another handyman to clean the puke.
  15. When starting the game, it tries to load a save for the title sequence. That save may have become corrupted. Try to reinstall the game or a different install method (use the launcher?) to see if that works better.
  16. Switch to stable builds if develop has too many issues. If your save still works there, you don’t have to start over.
  17. You don't have the new .json objects that are required for the original objects to work. How did you install OpenRCT2? Try using the launcher, that works better in most cases, and automatically keeps your game up-to-date.
  18. In OpenRCT2, go to options, find the right tab and manually set the RCT1 install directory there. The game should auto-detect default install directories, but it somehow failed on your machine, probably because you installed it in a non-default steam games folder.
  19. A few things to try: Check your settings, disable day/night cycling. Check if toggling weather effects / lightning makes any difference. In-game, go to object selection (you need to enable debugging tools for that) and (temporarily) select a new water color. Changing the water color changes the entire palette of the game, though the only differences are usually only in the water colors. You're not the first with this problem. Search around this forum for that other topic to see if there’s a solution there.
  20. Touchscreen support should already be there. It is not as nice as mouse controls yet, but it is gradually being improved. If there are any problems with touchscreen controls, don’t hesitate to talk to the devs (create an issue on github if it doesn’t exist yet).
  21. In that case, don’t send them over wetransfer either. Just make sure you only share non-official content. You can easily sort those out by looking at the date they were created.
  22. PYou can attach saves and object files here, just click 'Click to choose files' and select the file(s) you want to share.
  23. Clearly an AV issue. Go to your antivirus and whitelist/restore OpenRCT2 there.
  24. The easiest way is to open a save that has the objects you want. This can be done by either downloading a save or joining a server. Joining all open servers for a second should already get you quite a few custom objects, though there’s no way to tell which ones you’ll get. If you just want a package of objects (and scenarios), look for UCES.
  25. Thanks for the video. Now I can just link this instead of explaining it all over again every time someone asks.
