  1. Known bug, but it's probably not going to be fixed, as it would break existing parks and coaster designs. The same thing can happen with steep and normal slopes.
  2. Click+hold the golden shovel in the top toolbar.
  3. For question 1, the answers are no, no and no. Being able to select to which side the park expands, as well as non-square sizes, are planned, but it will still take a long time before they are implemented. 3. You should drop them in OpenRCT2/object. Also make sure you have restarted the game at least once. I'm not that good with scenery, nor a Mac user, so I can’t help you any further with the other questions.
  4. Are any other parks affected by the same issue? (Missing images often have to do with object files not being loaded properly, but that doesn't explain the empty ride list.)
  5. I found this topic. Not sure whether it contains the correct answer, but at least you can try. Also make sure you are on either the stable version or the latest develop.
  6. Your antivirus flagged OpenRCT2 which causes it to become unplayable. Open your antivirus and whitelist OpenRCT2 (and/or restore it from quarantaine).
  7. Has been suggested a long time ago, but it will have to wait until the window system is redesigned (which probably won't happen before the new save format is implemented): https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/2981
  8. Looks like I broke it over a year ago. The penalties for excessive G-forces were about twice as big (which explains the increase in intensity), but this has now been fixed.
  9. First make sure Windows Defender no longer flags OpenRCT2 as a virus. As long as any AV thinks it’s a virus, you won’t be able to play properly.
  10. Change the operating mode to powered launch mode (or anything else that doesn’t require a complete track).
  11. If you clicked 'Ja', the issue has been reported (on GitHub) and will hopefully be investigated and fixed soon. All you can do is wait (or temporarily switch to the stable version).
  12. Once flat rides are operating, the animations are considered vehicles rather than part of the ride itself. A see-through vehicles toggle would therefore work as well.
  13. OpenRCT2 loads all additional files from documents/OpenRCT2/[type]. Do not use the original RCT2 folders.
  14. They are invisible because the game could not properly locate the files containing the graphics for those objects. Make sure those files are in the correct folder. Someone else had this problem as well quite some time ago, but I don’t remember which topic nor the solution. A search might help, or wait for someone who does know the solution to reply.
  15. OpenRCT2 does not support windows XP anymore. You need to download version 0.0.3 for that to work.
  16. It is still in the works. Once the limits have been increased/removed, there will probably be announcements in many relevant communities.
  17. Any new element requires two things: the game must support the logic of the element and graphics must be available. While the logic for brakes and helixes is clearly in the game (you can even add them to the mini suspended coaster using cheats), the graphics aren't (and you won't see the element). If anyone provides the graphics, they will probably be enabled in the game. I don't know whether the cable lift code can be reused for elevators, but even if that is possible, sprites still need to be provided.
  18. Can you further describe what you can see and what not? A screenshot would do.
  19. Two things to try: On the main menu, tap 'T' on your keyboard. Remove your settings file. I think it should be somewhere in your documents/OpenRCT2 folder, but I can’t check right now.
  20. It is probably going to be fixed somewhere in the future. Since it's an open source project, I can not guarantee whether it will be done or when it will be done.
  21. Checked the save, and Flaming Fury indeed causes the issue. However, I have no clue why. I might fire up a debugger sometime, but you might have a better chance with one of the devs. For now, you can get the ride rating calculator working again by destroying Flaming Fury (or temporary removing one piece, but it will get stuck again).
  22. Welcome! #0: Indeed, most issues originate from RCT2. #1: The sandbox mode in the game is not yet complete sandbox mode. Go to the cheats menu (Ctrl+C) to give yourself insane amounts of money (or disable it all together) and set the park goal to 'Have fun!'. What is called 'sandbox mode' in-game only gives you rights to build outside the park, change peep spawns and build a new park entrance. Good suggestions though. #3-4: #4 was implemented in RCT1, but removed in RCT2. You can give it a shot by suggesting it on the official issue tracker: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues #5: I don't know of any zoom in the map window. You can zoom the entire game (including all UI elements) in the options. #6: The limits are there for technical reasons and removing them takes a lot of work, but some great people are working very hard to get these limits removed. There have been discussions in the past about the selection process, see https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/2965 Thanks for the feedback, hope you'll have a great time with OpenRCT2.
  23. Looks like you uploaded the file correctly, will look at it later this weekend. None of the rides will have its rating (re)calculated, so neither Flaming Fury will. This does not mean Flaming Fury is the problem.
  24. Find the save file in explorer, then drag it here when typing a new reply, or click 'choose files...'. Since all rides in the park have the problem, there is most likely a ride that blocks all further calculations. You can delete a few rides and check whether rides have their ratings calculated again. In that case you have deleted the faulty ride (then reload the save and delete only that ride).
  25. If there’s a 'hacked ride' in the park that causes the ride rating calculator to get stuck, no other ride in the park will have its ratings calculated anymore. Look for rides that possibly have an infinite loop in them.
