  1. Hi. I've been building some wooden coasters lately and I'd like to share them with everyone. It's really a mix of everything really, some are compact, some are very large etc. They definitely haven't all grown on me, but I guess I just get them out there.     I like the paths without fences, this means that adding themselves will look better.
  4. YOU ARE NOT NEW, THAT'S A LIE, SAY THAT IT IS A LIE. IIIIIIIT'SS AAAAAAAAAAAAA LIEIEIEIEIE! >:C In all seriousness, what you build looks very nice. I wouldn't be able to help you though besides telling you that a 50x50 map is very small, especially for multiple players. Hope to see more stuff.

    I've done a bit of research which caused me to the fact that all the big European river deltas do and as Cascadia said; most American do too. But we could move the swamp somewhat upwards just before the river is rapidly gaining more width, you could see this in real life to where the Biesbosch (Netherlands) is located. I can't find further examples, but one should be enough I think.

    Same goes for the Netherlands. It used to be a swamp once. But what I do get is that some people were looking forward to building something more beach-like.

    I'd atleast vote for a space themed area somewhere as nothing alike has yet featured in the park, yet it's one of the themes that is featured in the main game. Maybe combine it with the martian theme? If that wasn't in the expansions.

    The layout of the paths remind me of the Efteling. I think it's quite a good idea, but to let people have that much space on flat terrain seems a bit excessive, especially if they aren't going for the one or two giga coasters the park will have. Also, I like the fact that the centre square is something white, thus a building or a nice fountain, I'd like such.

    There are two gumdrops as scenery pieces under the Giant Candy theme, you can use these as rocks as I won't be using CS for this park. This due to the rest of the park neither using CS.

    I don't see the problem. Besides these coasters being very big which is not ideal, there's nothing wrong with them. I'm actually charmed by the wooden building structure, probably because the elevated roof looks really neat. Just do what your heart desires and have fun.
  14. You did really well, every coaster and even flat ride looks really well cared for. Trees are not overwhelming the park but there is still a decent variety of trees, same goes for shrubbery. Besides, you've won my already by placing fencing all around the park. I think I would like going to such park! For the up and coming years improvements could be made on stalls becoming decorated food courts or restaurants, changing the color schemes to fit their theme or target audience more* and the long and wide wooden splash boats scenery might get a little rework as it looks quite weird now and I can't really see the purpose for it. *E.G. The Dragon seems like quite a threatening name and the coaster is quite large for the park, but the light blue totally denies this and makes it look like this dragon is some kind of friendly park mascot. The kiddie coaster is a coaster with a dark colour scheme which goes through not the brightest of forests, not really child-friendly if I say so myself. But that were just a few points I saw there could be improved on, it's on you if you think they're necessary.

    Oh sorry, for some reason I am not getting notifications for this thread. But thanks, I'm currently being strangled by the invert being so close to the entrance building, I might want to make other paths or make for example the path that doesn't go through the station more friendly for people who do not like to see people get thrown upside-down. Rockwork is also a point I'm thinking about how to pull such off, you only really have the gum drops, but on the other hand, I do not even got a station in mind

    I'm in! You forgot to fill in the 4th point of the 3rd rule. Also does landscaping mean just landscaping (sculpting land and adding water) or does it mean that you could also make paths and minor decorations? Also, I think there should be a giga/hypercoaster in the park again, even though they take more space. Mine was a bit too wide, but there are sure ways to incorporate it more within the park. Like in the first park, a lot of rides were put under the hyper twister without making it look incredibly awful. (Actually, Qin Dynasty was only 875 tiles, so 800 tiles should be rather easy.)

    @jensj12 You can change all parts in-between the chainlift and station to also be a chainlift as it's a new feature, boats will still go down the slope faster. Slightly adjust the last underground bit even causes for being able to place (block) brakes.

  19. I know where to port forward but not what numbers I should enter and if that matters. I've only hosted some civ iv servers before as the official servers were dead and a friend doesn't like civ v.

    Attempted changing type of train of Thief's Turn, the coaster has accidently become one of the top coasters and I even have seen it as #1 favourite but ended up listening to "it's hard to say goodbye" by Michael Ortega while crying in a corner Added shrubbery, ya, shrubs... =) Added toile... uhm restrooms. People couldn't find the entrance of Turbulence as they were aiming to go over the fence to climb up the station. Fixed it by an underground path with really bad theming. Added 1 monorail train. Changed monorail colours to fit themes along the park, sadly, most of them were really bland colourwise so 3 out 7 trains are themed towards things I made.     Update =) GUESS WHO'S BACK?! ... ... ... Wait, you don't know? Come on, we've been waiting forever for it ... sigh ... MMMHH .... AAAAARHG ... heavy breathing ... throws pillow on the ground ... walks away Well, Wuis just totally ragequit writing this, so I, Notwuis, am taking over. In this turn we've finally found the secrets of the suspended Zamperla coaster named Turbulence. As such great coaster would attract millions of guests, it was immediately build again after the mysterious disappearance of the park. Most people blame Queen Bee for the disappearance, she herself blames Chief Beef's Belief Burgers as there was a marketing campaign for free burgers during that time and she believes that the food was poisoned. Investigators are still on the case, so we'll see. (IT WAS CLIMATE CHANGE) Besides doing so, I finally add a coaster in-between Qin Dynasty after feeling guilty taking up space for 3 medium sized coasters. So you can add Thief's Turn to your coaster bingo the next time you visit the OpenRCT Group Park. Thief's Turn has been discovered during works on the building that covers the path when going under Qin Dynasty. Raiders from all over the world come to this place, but to get in you get to go through steep turns that set you on the edge of life. Do I need to make the same entrance or shall I try to make a hangar? I dunno, I don't exactly like the building as it's rather simple by covering up what it has to cover up, but I so far have tried to make things exactly as they were, as far as I could see. (Besides the exit path, the wood was out of place compared to the asphalt.) Also, any tips? PS. The coaster has very low capacity, lower than Buckriders currently has, I think it was 432 peeps per hour but I can't exactly recall.

So when you claim 3.15, your (finished) save file is known as 3.16. You kinda dun goofed on naming it now as to naming it 3.75b. Those letters behind the numbers indicate that it is the second version, in which case 3.75b would indicate that it would be the third version of Cascadia's file. But no biggie, not dead yet, yet.

    @jensj12 That first one seems really hard to pull off, especially if we don't want to use cc to get into the title sequence. The problem with it is that flat rides will become more dependant on their surroundings or the building they're in, to look unique. And I do feel that some people are not into that, as they're just playing this game for the coaster building. Maybe a ban from building coaster every 3rd turn would lead to a better situation? The second rule seems cool, unless somebody's not into terraforming that'll be fun. Especially if you may not build on your own land, then you have to make an image yourself of the said land.
