Guests don't vomit when walking on queue lines either. Can easily be proven by disconnecting a queue line from the paths and closing the ride, so that they will start walking. Use cheats to give them max nausea, and notice how it slowly drops while they are walking.

Build one new ride: Dangerous Flora, an Enterprise. It's near the border of the jungle, the perfect place for guests to get some used to the jungle's horrors. Nearby guests can get some drinks and food, to prepare for their adventure ahead. Other things: Fixed the issues jensj showed Fixed a pathing issue that caused guests to get lost Removed the temporary path, it doesn't seem to be needed anymore Placed a bunch of benches and bins around the jungle area Named all staff members, don't threat them as numbers! @Dan: I included the indoor thingy for this save. If you want to do it your way, feel free to remove what I added. Claimed: - Queue: @SuperVarken, ziscor, jensj12, Cascadia, Wuis Missed: Philmon11, imlegos The OpenRCT Group Park 3.34.sv6

@Dan: What do you think of something like this to give your ride an indoor look?

Just found out the park was not saved at all yesterday, which seems to be a bug with saving using the system dialog. Continuing from an autosave now.

So how is everyone doing?

Just heard that the company I wanted to have my internship doesn't take new interns until the end of fall. Other than that I'm doing good. -
Game Crashes when on a map with custom rides
Broxzier replied to luca_starks's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Does the crash still occur with 9c95803 or newer versions? -
I'd say the karma/points system would be better for this. The amount of posts does not say much about how experienced someone is. Indeed, as ziscor mentioned, someone can be active in the fun subforum, and not answer questions. Having the points more as a "good answer" system (like StackOverflow), and possible only display in it the problems and bugs section.

Indeed very well done, @Dan! I agree that it could use some work to make it more look like an indoor ride, maybe you can already achieve that by building support walls and flat supports as a roof.

It's a known issue: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/3564

There are two links, the first one seems to work fine, and the second is probably the raw version of it which you can find here: http://pastebin.com/raw/x0qAw2rr

Don't start with big buildings, start small. Try new things and remove things you don't like. You'll get the hang of it soon enough to start making larger buildings.

It looks like it fails to open this file: C:\Users\xioal\Desktop\roller coaster tycoon 2\Tracks\Ferret .TD6 I don't know why it fails. Can you upload it here so someone can inspect it? Edit: Even though it's a TD6 file, I suspect that the file was converted from a TD4. The warning above the says that the track had boosters, and when that's the case it fails to load, but afterwards the code tried to continue as if it loaded successfully. Do you know how you obtained Ferret.TD6?

Or remove it altogether. And also the points under the avatar. Both seem a bit silly to me.
-
@imlegos: Yes. I started on making that a while ago, but dropped it. I should pick it up again. The reason why I dropped it was because I wanted to do this for all spinners I could think of, but for some currencies the number is higher. Should be easy to work around though, I believe there's a boolean for this somewhere.

Exactly. Unless Chris Sawyer smashes in some awesome new features, I don't think it will catch up with OpenRCT2 quite as good. It will probably get more attention quicker, and when people learn there's an alternative with even more features the OpenRCT2 community will only grow.

On my phone the "OpenRCT2 Forums" text wraps to bellow the header, making everything behind it not clickable. To go to unread content I'll have to first open the Activity menu and navigate it.

Not everyone has the same priorities. Sorting it alphabetically would make clearer in my opinion.

can't raise land more than 120 feet
Broxzier replied to joshmarsilio's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
@X7123M3-256: You might want to report your findings here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/3455 As far as I know the in-game limit is not there because the ground can't get higher, as proven by the issue above, but maybe it's set to this specific height because otherwise coasters and rides could get too high or something - I'm just guessing here what the reason for this limit is at all. It could be just a design decision. -
Are there any error messages printed to the console?

I never use patrol areas, unless I really want a handymen somewhere, other than that there was never the need for one

I was thinking of having it as a part of the station instead. The quests in the front of the queue enter while there is no train yet, but get ready for their positions on the platform.
-
A bridge like that would completely stop the water flow if it is a river though Maybe put wooden supports under the path instead, and maybe make it just straight.
-
With such stations it's almost always the case that the entrance and exit are on opposite sides of the station. Then this system works fine. When the exit is on the same side the guests enter from they would walk through each other, or the guests in the queue need to wait for all guests to have walked past them.
