There's been a pull-request made by @jensj12 that does this exactly. It adds a button to the ride window that when pressed calculates the costs of rebuilding the ride, and that's what you pay. It's grown a bit stale since, however, so it will need to be updated and checked before being merged.

I usually don't release the mousebutton until I've placed it back in position. I do agree that it's kind of strange, but you'll get used to it. The original game had this too, and I don't think many players find it that annoying. Looking at Planet Coaster, it does the exact same thing. While dragging, the mouse cursor stays at its position, so it's not something outdated.

It's probably loading assets in every time you start up. Check for conclicting objdata files by checking the output. You can see the output by running the game as: openrct2.exe --console Enabling verbose logging with --verbose might give some more information about what it's doing during those 5-10 seconds.

@Wuis There is a known issue with some nVidia cards having poor performance. If you have one, try downgrading your driver to an older version.

Hype!!

Welcome, ask away and share your ideas!

No idea, it was already so when I took my turn. I also think the station should be shortened quite a bit, and have the track go the other way around. If I remember correctly the underground entrance there would have chopped off the guests' heads if it were real.

Corrupt a Wish (A Forum Game)

Granted, however just before the battle a group of newcomers called Johns came in to help Jean out in the war against Joe and Jane. I wish their battle does not cause too many deaths -

Evil! Granted, however since there are so many, everyone starts calling each other Joel. I wish there would be enough average Janes for all the Joels. -
Alright, so what's your question?

Granted, it's so good that the power usage exceeds your capacity. I wish someone would figure out how gravity works exactly very soon. -

Granted! You wished for yourself to suffer (mhuahaha) I wish everyone could stop talking about American politics. -
It's the same as in the scenario creator.

I do, but also do not consider it cheating, depending on context. In most cases when you want to do this, the mechanic got stuck somewhere, and you just want to help them reach the broken ride, but then when you did so, the mechanic can walk away, and another is being called. This is just annoying.

For the past few months the famous OpenRCT Group Park 4 has had a construction site near an empty beach area. Today we celebrate the opening of a brand new ride called Salty Dog. There is only one way to reach the new area, guests have to walk down a road, then just before they are at the beach they have to walk the stairs, but this only adds to the total picture. The moment you are over the hill, you enter a boardwalk from which you can see the sea, and in it a new, marvelous ship - the new attraction. "I was in awe," one of the guests said when we asked him for his opinion. "I have yet to see the new attraction for myself, but I have to wait for my wife and children. They are off to the nearest bathroom, which is about 1km from here. Kinda ridiculous." A woman in the background heard what was just said, and started shouting at him. "Surely they will build a toilet here in no time, this is only the first day!" To which the man replied "they should have thought about such things before opening it, heck it's even a so called Grand Opening". "It's not like you do everything perfect on your first try, just look at--" "Screw you and your assumptions! If it weren't for people like you, the world would be much less of a pussy!" "I beg you pardon?!" The woman shouted as she ran towards him and used her bag as a weapon. The man blocked the hit with his arms, and threw the woman over the railing of the boardwalk, then jumped after her. The woman's reflexes were quick though, as she took one of his arms and used his own speed to throw him further, into the river. Shouts from guests all over the place were filling the air. Our news team backed up to avoid any serious trouble, and went to the ship. All in all, we can say it was a very exciting day, this new ride is a success! It asks you for the current RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 install location.

How did you delete it? If with sandbox mode (which I understand from your post), open the map while having sandbox mode activated, and simply place the entrance back. If with the tile inspector, then some dev has to look at it, and fix the global park entrance array for you.

Are We Really Going This Far with Skylander Katfish?
Broxzier replied to ReakMayhem's topic in Multiplayer Discussion
I don't believe this. None of the devs is involved with the online multiplayer community, and we're not there to solve your conflicts. IP bans are not a thing, so Skylander must have made that up. But more importantly, these forums are not for rants about multiplayer. -
Getting a Disc Read error when Installing RCT2 Vanilla
Broxzier replied to Jaletsplay's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
That sounds bad, your disk might just be too scratched now. I hope you can recover the original files, and if you do so successfully you should burn them on a new disk. -

I'm not going to claim it yet, so if anyone from the missed turn list wants to go now, feel free to go before me. I'll claim it tomorrow evening (about 18 hours from now) if it's still unclaimed then, so that I have something to do in the train. @YoloSweggLord @Philmon11 @TCE @imlegos @RedScope53
