The message is self-explanatory, but I'm wondering why these groups wouldn't be complete as groups. All those in the image plus the one that generated the message, are obviously custom content, but incomplete sets ? I'm unsure how to remedy this, as I don't like seeing error messages. 😕

As for land size, I like doing large land areas too. But I've found that over a certain size I frequently get "Guests are getting lost or stuck". I think I've seen something somewhere that said about if it takes a peep 10 mins or more to get where they want to go, they get confused and do the "I can't find ???". This happened for me even before the increase in land sizes. Almost always, my pathing is straight forward, and queue lines are on main paths without peeps having to use another path to get to the queue. Well, that's what I find anyway. It appears that a park size of over 200x200-ish tiles gets peeps confused. ...... Stupid peeps can't even read a park map, or use a transport ride properly.

Why would you want to FORCE rides to have a particular rating set ? Just design the ride and tweak it until you get as close to what you want as you can. "god mode" in this way would detract from the essence of the game. But that's just my opinion.

I think Daconus may be referring to Marcel's live stream he was doing Saturday. I watched some of it last night (my time), and he was no doubt using hyper quite a bit, since he was doing a speed run of ALL RCT1 & RCT2 scenarios. -
But is there a plan for a way to "select all" in the object selection screen ? Just asking.

Hmm .... I'll give that a try. I usually only use the mouse. Oh, ok ... As far as I know I didn't download any custom pieces, wasn't that just part of that coaster's addition ? Just saw Marcel Vos's latest video about the Hybrid and Single Rail. It advises about this incident, so thanks @X7123M3-256 for your effort with these two coasters. It'll be great when the new elements can allow tracks to be saved too.

The error message whilst trying to save a ride design. To my knowledge all the elements were included with that coaster when it was added to OpenRCT2, I haven't added any custom elements. Sorry for the video, but I haven't been able to do screenshots that will include an error message, the message goes away as soon as you click on anything. There's a new feature that's been added more recently. Transparency Manager. Maybe that's altered keybinds. I don't use keybinds, so I'm not sure if this helps.

After the most recent update. OpenRCT2, v0.4.1-52-ga516b0c (a516b0c on develop) provided by GitHub Still doing the same thing, but only when building and removing ride pieces. Pre-built designs are uneffected. -

Gday All, Does anybody know why there appears to be an increase in intensity if you build even part of a track or ride underground ? I have built things entirely underground and that seems to have less of an effect than partially. I suspect that in "real world" underground components of rides wouldn't have any real effect on people riding them. Sure, you can think of it from a degree of disorientation being in the dark, but <shrug> surely not as significantly as seems to be the case in game. Just wondering.

Add "Construction Cost" to a ride's Income & Costs screen?

Welcome to a great revitalisation of a great game. I know what you're asking (I'm NOT one of the devs), but wouldn't the financial report give what you're after ? The top line give ride construction costs for each week progressively. And for pre-built rides most have the base construction cost in with the other basic info about that particular layout. Again, welcome to this little corner of the internet. -
Ok, after a few more attempts to duplicate the results, to prove I'm not stupid, or blind I can't reproduce what I thought I often saw. If anybody else HAS had positive g go "red" please reply. Other wise I'm obviously an idiot.

That may be the case, but in my experience when a ride has positive g over 5, it displays it as red. I could make some examples if you want. If it never showed as red in the past, then I wouldn't have made the post. Unless this is a more recent feature that I hadn't noticed before now.

With my most recent update 07Jul22 20:45 AEST I have a bit of a concern with a ride I created. It shows 8.44 positive g and NOT red. I know for a fact that 8 1/2 g is not fun, usually 4.99 is the limit for staying in the black. Talk about a high-g ride. Maybe I should make a G-Suit available to all who want to ride it.

I nearly always end up doing long sprawling coasters, and then tweaking them until they get out of the red, or just have a high enough excitement that it doesn't really matter. Having said that, this coaster wasn't hard to keep out of the red, and it has reasonable stats too. Hyperbolic 00.td6

Gday All, To the Dev Gurus, Would it take much for that "manager" to be opened by a button on one of the toolbars ? Currently it's an option in the "views" pull down menu. Purely for convenience really. No big deal if it's either "in the queue" or not worth doing. Just wondering.

Thanks for that. In my defence it was literally the first time Bitdefender has reacted at all to OpenRCT2, so yes, I overreacted. Maybe less exclamation points if it happens again. -

I actually didn't DO anything, as I couldn't find anywhere in Bitdefender to tell it OpenRCT2 is a good guy. That specific update got quarantined, and even telling it to restore the file wouldn't work. The next update and all since have had no issues. I'm not saying that that file was an issue, but there is always a chance these days that something can go wrong. Please don't brush this off as an "eye roll". I have had no other issues with updates, it's been a once-of occurrence so far.
