  1. After the most recent update. OpenRCT2, v0.4.1-52-ga516b0c (a516b0c on develop) provided by GitHub Still doing the same thing, but only when building and removing ride pieces. Pre-built designs are uneffected.
  2. Gday Gurus, Opened the game decided to build a Hybrid coaster, game crashed when I tried to delete the first station piece. OpenRCT2, v0.4.1-51-gbc72c7e (bc72c7e on develop) provided by GitHub Haven't tried with another ride type as yet. 2004005602_Crashed2022_07.27-12_52_50_01.mp4
  3. @Daconus, I literally just tried this myself, I tried to start building a submarine ride on land and yes, it crashed for me too. Even the station pieces caused this.
  4. I am NOT making fun of you when I ask this. You do know it's a "water ride" and can only be placed on water tiles. I realise that is not the point of your post though. Even placing on land shouldn't "crash" the game.
  5. Gday All, Does anybody know why there appears to be an increase in intensity if you build even part of a track or ride underground ? I have built things entirely underground and that seems to have less of an effect than partially. I suspect that in "real world" underground components of rides wouldn't have any real effect on people riding them. Sure, you can think of it from a degree of disorientation being in the dark, but <shrug> surely not as significantly as seems to be the case in game. Just wondering.
  6. Similar glitch to a while ago. I tried a few different coaster types especially those that have animated vehicles. It looks like it's only the Virginia Reel with the issue. 711603251_Desktop2022_07.12-10_57_03_02.mp4
  7. Welcome to a great revitalisation of a great game. I know what you're asking (I'm NOT one of the devs), but wouldn't the financial report give what you're after ? The top line give ride construction costs for each week progressively. And for pre-built rides most have the base construction cost in with the other basic info about that particular layout. Again, welcome to this little corner of the internet.
  8. Ok, after a few more attempts to duplicate the results, to prove I'm not stupid, or blind I can't reproduce what I thought I often saw. If anybody else HAS had positive g go "red" please reply. Other wise I'm obviously an idiot.
  9. That may be the case, but in my experience when a ride has positive g over 5, it displays it as red. I could make some examples if you want. If it never showed as red in the past, then I wouldn't have made the post. Unless this is a more recent feature that I hadn't noticed before now.
  10. With my most recent update 07Jul22 20:45 AEST I have a bit of a concern with a ride I created. It shows 8.44 positive g and NOT red. I know for a fact that 8 1/2 g is not fun, usually 4.99 is the limit for staying in the black. Talk about a high-g ride. Maybe I should make a G-Suit available to all who want to ride it.
  11. I nearly always end up doing long sprawling coasters, and then tweaking them until they get out of the red, or just have a high enough excitement that it doesn't really matter. Having said that, this coaster wasn't hard to keep out of the red, and it has reasonable stats too. Hyperbolic 00.td6
  12. Gday All, To the Dev Gurus, Would it take much for that "manager" to be opened by a button on one of the toolbars ? Currently it's an option in the "views" pull down menu. Purely for convenience really. No big deal if it's either "in the queue" or not worth doing. Just wondering.
  13. Thanks for that. In my defence it was literally the first time Bitdefender has reacted at all to OpenRCT2, so yes, I overreacted. Maybe less exclamation points if it happens again.
  14. I actually didn't DO anything, as I couldn't find anywhere in Bitdefender to tell it OpenRCT2 is a good guy. That specific update got quarantined, and even telling it to restore the file wouldn't work. The next update and all since have had no issues. I'm not saying that that file was an issue, but there is always a chance these days that something can go wrong. Please don't brush this off as an "eye roll". I have had no other issues with updates, it's been a once-of occurrence so far.
  15. Thank you to whomever did this. For me, it's made life SOOOOOOOOOO much easier. Love it. Whoever it is, my hat's off to you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. :)
  16. Good suggestion. Personally, I'd particularly like to have brakes on the mine ride, as for my taste they come into stations too fast. Since there's a cheat to have chain lift on any/all track pieces, I wonder if there could be one for brakes (obviously I don't mean brakes on all track pieces). Car ride & Monster Trucks don't really need brakes (in my opinion) as they don't ever go fast enough, even on a long down slope I've never seen any of mine get any higher than around 30-ish Kmph. The Monorail doesn't get high enough really either, I haven't had any faster than around 40-50 on a long downhill, but that's just me. Not being a programmer/coder/scripter/graphic designer, I have no idea how simple or complex the idea would be.
  17. As it says, just a few minutes ago and update got quarantined due to "Gen:Variant.Tedy.125822". This sort of thing hasn't happened to me before. So I currently can't play the game. It may be nothing but then again it may not. I'll see what happens with the next update.
  18. Could this project have been simply named OpenRCT in that case ? It's something I've wondered about for quite awhile.
  19. Sea Parks ? .... The splishiest, splashiest place in the world. Or so Moss says. "A fire, at Sea Parks ?".
  20. Not that I'm aware of, but with the cheats menu you can easily change it, but it doesn't set it in that way, you'd just need to hit that button occasionally. To get around the "mowing" I use that "scrubby" looking terrain, the one that looks to be a mix of brown and green. Just a suggestion.
  21. I've seen mention of "plugins" around here, but didn't know there were any, so I'd have to say no. I have quite a bit now of the more common custom scenery that get mentioned here and came with OpenRCT2, but until this specific instance, nothing has caused any issues for me. Worst case, I'll delete the park and/or make a new one. Obviously that doesn't "solve" the problem it's just avoiding it. I give it a try every so often now, but get the same result.
  22. Opened the game up, and it did an update, I've copied the build string. I opened that park again, and got the same result when I tried to remove the maze. Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 21H2 Installed on ‎02/‎02/‎2022 OS build 22000.652 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.652.0 OpenRCT2, v0.4.0-74-gb08c87c (b08c87c on develop) provided by GitHub Hope this helps.
  23. Trying to remove everything from this "park", but every time I try to delete the maze the games shows the "zzzzz" and closes completely. It was doing this while there were multiple other rides and still doing it while it's the only one. Hopefully somebody with more knowledge than me can give me a solution. Thanks in advance. 1259496615_AttractionDesignOnly.park
  24. If this is what you mean, then it's what I'd like to see also. But I suspect that with so many objects available all the time now, it'd be no small task. I have no idea if we as users can do it our selves, sort of like a "drag and drop" or whatever.
