  1. Note that you _can_ use WINE to get the RCT2 files. Just don’t use it for OpenRCT2 itself - it will even warn you about that.
  2. It has now been fixed. If you update your OpenRCT2, it should list the excitement factor correctly again. (It was fortunately only cosmetic.)
  3. Yes, this is a bug. There has been a clean up in how OpenRCT2 handles text, which is probably the cause.
  4. You’ll have to be WAY more specific. How does the game glitch? What does it do that prevents you from generating a map?
  5. Can you go the title screen -> red toolbox -> Open custom content folder and take a screenshot of the directories in the folder that opens?
  6. Without you providing your macOS version and OpenRCT2 version, we cannot help you.
  7. I have been able to reproduce the freeze. It is probably a buffer overflow (non-Latin scripts take more room in UTF-8, and this coaster has a long description). Thanks for reporting the bug.
  8. You disabled User Account Control, which is something you should never do. Turn it back on and the warning will go away. The black screen is this bug: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/15076
  9. I’ll need to know your build (listed in the title screen) before I can help you. Uploading an affected save also helps.
  10. If your games save properly, then you don’t need to worry about potentially losing data. At worst, the game could corrupt index files or the configuration file. Nevertheless, we have seen more reports about this and do intend to fix it. However, that’s made difficult due to this error only occurring on macOS, and Apple making big changes to how macOS works in Big Sur.
  11. It is normal, yes. macOS will display this error for any application, unless the developers buy an expensive certificate from Apple. As long as you download your release from our GitHub page, or openrct2.io or openrct2.org, it will be malware-free.
  12. Has been fixed in the meantime.
  13. We (the devs) have no direct access to this (community-run) website, so we can’t fix that. Only @GingerAdonis can. The official changelog (which is up-to-date) is here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/blob/develop/distribution/changelog.txt
  14. I have reported the bug here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/15151
  15. There is window that lists all the shortcuts, including the one for the screenshots. It also lets you set your own if desired. That window has been in the game since 1999. As for your error, you will have to be more specific. _Which_ prebuilts are we talking about?
  16. I have been able to reproduce the bug. The error is not difficult to understand, but surprisingly deep, unfortunately. It will most likely be tackled as part of a refactor.
  17. That is just a limitation of not having the Ladybird and Log trains ported, I’m afraid. I don’t think Forest Frontiers has the Rocket Cars available, so the Classic Mini won’t show up. When those trains are ported over, this issue should go away by itself. Edit: I think I can explain it simpler. The bottom line is this: we are aware of the problem, we are working on it, but the last pieces of the puzzle are quite tedious to solve, but we will solve it, and then you will have a proper replacement for the Steel Mini RC.
  18. If you have Rocket Cars available, then the coaster type should be available (example from Megaworld Park): Otherwise it won’t show up - yet.
  19. The drawing error is inherited from RCT2. We’d want to fix it at some point, but those kind of issues are not easy. We have already added back the Steel Mini RC. It’s called the Classic Mini Coaster and it has access to all elements you‘d expect. However, until someone also ports the RCT1 trains, only the Rocket Cars are available for it.
  20. For the benefit of others with the same question: just enable Sandbox mode and the road becomes available in the Footpaths window.
  21. If your Mel’s World save freezes up every time you load it, then I’d like you to upload it. We can investigate that.
  22. You’re not going crazy. That ship has sailed. Joking aside: no version of RCT1 or RCT2 has shown an image there. For OpenRCT2, it is a feature we’d want to implement at some point, but so far it hasn’t been implemented. What you might have seen, though, is the Six Flags logo on some scenarios: (OpenRCT2 has removed this branding.)
  23. Is it an actual crash or a freeze? Can you determine a set of steps to reproduce? Please also upload the scenario if you have.
  24. Are you able to find a set of steps to reproduce the problem? I know you mentioned building in the Track Designer, but can you get more specific?
  25. Could you provide your OpenRCT2 version and build hash? They are listed in the title screen.
