One hour to go, the clock is ticking!!

Never heard of something like this before. Could it be that the pause key on your keyboard is being triggered constantly? As a work-around for the placement, you can enable the 'Allow building in pause mode' cheat. Edit: Just noticed you made two threads about this. Next time please only make one, and use the search function before asking a question.

"a click is a click" what's that supposed to mean? When you click, there are a billion ways to handle the data. A 'click' is nothing more than a position on your screen at a certain time. When you are zoomed out, it's possible that this 'position' creates the 'ray' from your viewport into your park does not hit a tile, because of it skipping 3/4 of the pixels for each extra zoom level. You can do the exact same thing by 'missclicking' outside of the map with the land tool enabled and moving it.
-
That is not true. You just have to find the correct spot to hold your mouse.

You are able to call install, so that means setenv.ps has done its job. install however seems to have some errors. From the + signs in there it looks like it has some conflicts. Try resetting your cloned branch: git reset --hard upstream/develop assuming upstream is the original repository, and you are on the develop branch. Then run the install script to download the dependencies - this will rid you of all the missing files Then run `build all` to build the game and its dependencies. From here you should be able to build the game from VS.

terrain map edge glitch + Possible fix
Broxzier replied to YoloSweggLord's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
It does, but it will remove the map scenery near the edges. -
It's not fixed, the trick still works. I just fixed the formatting of that thread to make it readable again: https://openrct2.org/forums/topic/215-scenery-guide-tricks/#comment-694

terrain map edge glitch + Possible fix
Broxzier replied to YoloSweggLord's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
A simpler way to 'fix' this is to increase and then decrease the map size. Decreasing it will set the border tiles right, and these are the ones rendering the ground. -
I'd argue most RCT1 scenarios are pretty realistic.

Server-Connection: No-Data | OpenRCT2 no response

Which build are you using exactly? -
Since you can build anything for free, I would just flatten the land out first

Make sure you're running the exact same version. Try running the game with --verbose, and it might give more information. -
I can't connect to any server? (still not solved)
Broxzier replied to a topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
To do so open command prompt and navigate to the folder where openrct2.exe is located, then type "openrct2.exe --verbose" -
I think having two monorails is the better option, with a station near the center where peeps can hop over.
-
Finished my turn. I built a log flume ride, combined with splash boats for the big drop, and I extended the monorail a little bit further, together with a station. There's no entrance and exit, because I'm not 100% sure this is the right spot for it, because the monorail is basically going all over the park already, and can only have 4 stations. I placed one or two toilets in the park, I think two but can't remember the second place anymore. One is inside the cinema building. The park rating is 999 now, however there are guests getting lost trying to get in the lift ride. This is actually the reason why I made it in the first place, but it allows for rotating other map elements too. Someone else is working (or at least trying to) on something that makes entrances and exits work properly in all directions, so that guests don't have to walk straight through. I was thinking of creating a topic about the things you can do with the tile inspector, but there are some improvements and extra features to make for it too. -
I don't hear the resemblance between the Yoshi-Go-Round and the other two, while these two definitely share it.

Try setting compatibility mode to a older version of Windows.

HELP Can't open fresh install of game

Is bde0989 the version that generated the dump file? -
Most colour pallet DAT files only change the water, but there are a few that change the entire pallet. The one I attached to this post is my favourite, it gives the game a night-y feeling (when not using the day/night cycle). WTRHFILT.DAT

It looks like the Disney fences have an offset when placed on slanted surfaces.
