Just some thoughts on what could be added to the chat: Overflow: For when that one line of text simply won't fit in the window. Basically, once the line of text reaches the edge of the window, it continues on the next line. Unicode support: For when we want to post lenny faces. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Message timeout toggle on/off: When off, this would prevent text from disappearing from the page. Mentions: basically works the same way as @ mentions in the forum (such as @YoloSweggLord). Typing @ would bring up the list of players, typing would limit the list to the players with those characters in the name (basically the same way it works in the forums). Names would show up highlighted in green to all players except the mentioned player, who sees it as red. Possibly a notification sound could play to the mentioned player. Clicking on an @ mention would open the multiplayer window of that player. Whispers: This is already implemented in wolfreak_99's mods. typing /w @(player name) would send a private message to that specific player. Instead of typing /w @(player), one could type /w *(group name) to send a PM to all players in the specified group. For example, I could type "/w *admin keep an eye on (player), I don't trust him" to send the message only to players in the admin group. I know some of this would require quite a bit of coding, but these were just some ideas I had for improving chat.

Nah, let's leave the tag off of it If you must claim it as yours, I recommend you put it on a sign or something. "Papa Franku's" has a nice ring to it. Plus the name itself makes it sound like a strip club or something (as if the signs weren't obvious enough)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This is one of waterflame's newest songs. It has a nice "hands-up" style to it, and in that its a bit different from his usual style. Nevertheless, its a pretty damn good song. Most importantly, it's more "dance" style and it's something that would be appropriate at a party- indeed, I've played this song at parties before.

No they don't. If they did, people wouldn't be complaining about this.

I'm not adept at fixing these kind of things, but I do know that the .td6 file would be useful, if not instrumental, in finding/solving this glitch. You might want to link that as well.

Yes; unfortunately, I lost my freedom park file so now it will be forever unfinished MEWHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

I wish I knew how to code. I'm pretty quick at learning these things tho, is there a good place I can learn coding?

To fix this problem with the car selection, how about: the first 63 menu slots are valid rides, while the 64th one says "load more train types". Clicking on this option will refresh the menu, this time displaying the next 63 train types (or at least up until you run out of track types.) Once the menu runs out of options, clicking the "load more train types" button would restart the menu with the first 63 train types.

Custom ground colors do not exist in RCT2. The ground textures are most likely in the g1.dat file, which contains the game's graphics. Since the g1.dat file is not used in scenery selection, custom terrain textures are impossible to add. Though this does seem like it would be a possibility once OpenRCT2 is converted to an independent save file format.

I know it's possible to open a scenario, then edit the landscape to a new map, but that doesn't allow us to apply scenario selections to our landscapes that are already made. This would allow us to mix-and-match our scenery selections with our saved landscapes and scenarios.
-
So I guess that explains why some cars are unavailable in the drop-down menu when "show cars from other track types" is checked... it's not our screen size, it's the menu size...

I feel like somewhere on the forums (probably in the account settings page) there should be something that tells users which at which numbers of posts they rank up at. For example, apprentice at 10 posts, entrepreneur at 100 posts, etc. (at least that's how I remember it being)

What did you think of the OpenRCT2 0.0.4 title sequence?
YoloSweggLord replied to Spacek's topic in General Discussion
I feel like the OpenRCT2 title sequences should how off features in Openrct2 but not in vanilla RCT2. For example, later title sequences could contain rides with track merging, invisible entrances, rides operating in non-default operating modes etc. but in a way where they are easy to notice but not overly done as to distract one from the beauty of the park itself. -

cool story bro -
It would be great if OpenRCT2 made it possible to save the scenery selection in the same manner as one saves landscapes- within the scenario editor, in the menu there's be a "save scenery selection" option that saves a file containing (in a list) the rides/scenery/path etc. selection currently in use. This selection could then be loaded to a map in the scenario editor, provided the current landscape doesn't contain any scenery that isn't in the scenery selection.

Don't quote me on this but this seems like it's be relatively simple to do. At least, it seems a lot simpler than some of the other suggestions I've seen.
