TCE Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Is this face/mood still in RCT2/OpenRCT2? I remember seeing it quite a bit in the first RCT, but haven't seen it in years. They feel better after vandalizing things or riding some rides, lol.
Nubbie Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 That face sure still is in OpenRCT2 Think they get it when stepping in too much vomit/waste + closing down a ride they have been in que for a while 1

Another thing I would like to know, how do we go about getting the extra entertainers like the gorilla, knight and bandit? Because I only ever see the tiger, elephant and panda on OpenRCT2. Thanks in advance.

They're available when the corresponding scenery group is selected. I don't know if there's a cheat to bypass that. 1
imlegos Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Gorrila: Jungle theme Knight: Medieval Bandit & Sharif: Wild West 4

TCE Posted December 2, 2016 Author Posted December 2, 2016 There's also a Snowman, Wizard and Pirate I think. And a Princess?
imlegos Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 I don't recall a wizard or princess. Not even sure of pirate. But snowman is from the Snow and Ice theming 2
YoloSweggLord Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 I think there's a pirate but I'm not sure. 1
Broxzier Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 All available entertainers are: Panda Tiger Elephant Roman Gorilla Snowman Knight Astronaut Bandit Sheriff Pirate 4
Mawfeen Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 It doesn't seem to always be available. I was able to select it before, but it's since disappeared.
Broxzier Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Did you change your available themes using the object selection by any chance?
Gymnasiast Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 The entertainers costume dropdown has bugs. I noticed that a few weeks ago, when working on code for random entertainers.

It seems there has been a new feature added according to: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/develop/distribution/changelog.txt "- Feature: Allow entertainers' costume changes even in absence of required scenery" But it doesn't seem to work for me, lol. 1
Broxzier Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 I think it is a console command, and not visible in the menu.

This command doesn't affect the GUI, it directly changes the target entertainer's costume. If you're not seeing the costume change, then perhaps you're using it on a staff member that isn't an entertainer or entering an out of range number for the costume? Broxzier Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Type staff set costume in the console to see how to use the command. It will list the available costumes with their index that you should use. The relevant pull request: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/4901 Edited January 17, 2017 by Broxzier 1
TCE Posted January 17, 2017 Author Posted January 17, 2017 Thanks guys. I see the list of options in the console but I keep getting invalid staff ID when I put an entertainer in i.e "entertainer 4".
X7123M3-256 Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Are you literally typing "entertainer 4" into the console? The staff ID should be a nonnegative integer. You can see a list of staff and their IDs by typing "staff list" at the console. Edited January 17, 2017 by X7123M3-256 1
