  1. The game never speeds up automatically for me, only when i accidentally press the + button..
  2. It should count all tracked rides according to what i read in the code. Even when you fulfill the conditions for an award, the moment you get it is still random (as far as i know) so it can take a long time.
  3. Our requirement is that people are active on our discord and contribute to discussions for a few days or weeks. Never had issues with people destroying stuff since we had this rule.
  4. It's not that bad, really. On my server we only allow known people from our discord to play. People who spam or misbehave will be kicked or muted. If necessary because someone keeps coming back with different names we temporarily only allow known players to join. I only had to do this a few times in all the time my server was online. Besides these minor incidents it has been a fun experience for me at least.
  5. Did you follow the rules of the server? On some servers i know they delete coasters when people make one so big that it uses up all the money.. On other servers you're not allowed to make extreme stuff.
  6. The amount of money a guest will pay for a ride does not depend on how much other rides cost, but only on the value of the ride itself. As a ride ages, it's value will slowly drop. There will be a 25% reduction in ride value if there is a ride of the same type elsewhere in the park, however. I recommend you to read the guide i linked to earlier in this thread, it covers all the code used to calculate the value of a ride.
  7. Just try to limit the amount of junctions and your guests should be fine
  8. Thanks for the offer, but I already have enough projects to work on.. (and my own server to manage lol)
  9. Cool, did you get started on the server yet? Would be nice if you could share some screens when you have something nice! I think it may also convince people to join your server and discord.
  10. Damn, this must have taken a while to build.. Looks great!

We could still go like this: Maybe if we remove that tower...

@1081p I think you can put yourself in front of the queue (and put me in the missed turns list)
  14. Great start! Can't wait to see what it looks like when you've filled it all up.
  15. For a contest on the RC&F Discord, we had to make a Steel Twister coaster with an industrial / mechanical theme. I decided to build a coaster with a station themed around a research facility. Overview: Here's a view of the station. The lower deck is used by guest as a queue area for the coaster. The higher area is for people who like to spectate. Behind the building I made a transfer track with a storage building for the roller coaster trains. After exiting the station, trains are first gently launched up the lift hill. At the top, they will immediately enter the first inversion. After that they will plummet down and go through another three big inversions. After the first 4 inversions, the coaster will pass the mid course brake run on top of the building, where guests get a moment to catch their breath. After the brake run, the trains will follow a helix around the solar panels, followed by a batwing and a final corkscrew before returning to the station. Here are the stats, for the people who care If you want to take a better look, you can download the map here: Helios Research Facility.sv6 I hope you guys like it, I had tons of fun making this!
  16. Haha nice! After posting this I also got an idea to make a small area outside the park border and put a closed coaster themed after the Dutch team there Maybe if I ever make another version lol
  17. Hey everyone! Are you enjoying the Fifa World Cup so far? There is sure some exciting stuff going on! As a tribute to the on-going Fifa world cup, I made a small park in a few hours. I hope you all enjoy it. Now let me take you on a tour through the park. Here's the overview of the park. It has 3 coasters and a thrill ride. When you enter the park, you come across this iconic garden in the shape of the 2018 World cup ball. Next up is a green coaster called the Neymar coaster. In this coaster, guests can experience the world from Neymar's perspective, which is laying on their backs and screaming for a penalty. Unlike normal lay-down coasters, guests ride this coaster on their backs for most of the ride. A Neymar coaster wouldn't be a Neymar coaster without some time in the spotlights, so that's why this coaster has not one, but three on-ride photo sections. Outside the coaster are two first aid stations, which will help anyone who suffered any feigned injuries during the ride. Next coaster in the list is Die Mannschaft, a ride themed after the German football team. While it looks impressive and everyone has high expectations of it, it just disappoints. After some dips and twists, you encounter a South Korean flag, after which the ride sadly ends. Also pictured is the FIFA employee simulator. In this virtual reality ride, you are put in the body of a FIFA employee who has to grab as much money from rich Russians as possible, without being caught for corruption. A very exciting ride! The last ride of the park is the Videoref coaster. This coaster simulates a football game with videoref. After a few exciting moments, the coaster brakes and almost comes to a standstill. After a while the coaster continues again. At the end of the coaster, a few minutes of extra time is added to the game. Of course, the park also has something for the hungry and thirsty guests. FIFA has chosen some brands to supply all the food and drinks. Of course, quality is the highest concern, which is reflected in the shop names. Alright, that was it! I hope you all enjoyed the park. You can get the save file here: Fifa World Cup 2018 Park.sv6
  18. The host has to forward port 11753 in their router, or else it won't work.
  19. You have to put custom scenery in the OpenRCT2/object folder now. If you put it there it should work.
  20. Even though it's a sandbar, you should really try to do some more landscaping under your rides. Make some artificial mountains between them, vary the land texture a bit, place some water. I think it will look a lot better than just using sand with some scenery objects here and there. For example, you could let the orange coaster race through a pirate town on its lowest level, or you could let the wooden coaster go through some caves or waterfalls. Also, you should avoid using water spouts (the tornadoes), those just look silly when placed above water level

I don't really think that huge metal & glass tower fits in with the Asian themed stuff next to it.. EDIT: I just looked in game, and it's further away from the asian area than i thought.. Still, it's another monstrosity, that will block out the view of parts of the park from every angle.

Ok guys, here's my contribution: I have started work on an Asian-themed area next to the mechanical themed area. I made a Japanese style building which acts as the station for a wooden roller coaster, named Ryujin. In the middle of the area I made a Mini golf course. (i have hidden peeps in the screenshot because they all started rushing towards the new rollercoaster ) To do: Add more foliage, add shops, maybe add some more water, add gentle ride(s) (cano hire?) @Broxzier, you're up! Or any of the people in the missed turns list: @RedScope53 @Wuis @UTMAN @giraty @jensj12 Queue: Broxzier, Deurklink Missed: Redscope53, Wuis, UTMAN, giraty The OpenRCT2 Group Park 8.23.sv6
