this is a screen from 16 hous ago.. due to todays mistake.. i'm lost at the moment. Originally I did an Olympic landscape with the rings in sync with the mine train (not shown). if my wife lets me stay up way too late, i'll try and replicate.. no promises. REGARDLESS.. I have boundried this area as to transfer my area asap.

back in the day...this same kid built kewl fantasy parks.. but he has forgotten the basic movement to scroll the terrain in dirt mode. and i didn't force save

That crap happens all the time. I trust OpenRCT2 so every time I hard update or use the Launcher, I pause all security, walls etc.... once it fires up I reactivate and good to go... I wish I have mentioned that earlier... good you got it going

I'm starting this post to basically unload years of designs. Some will be really cool, some will be cutting edge and some will make you scratch you head and grab another beer. Content will range from custom tracks, custom track with scenery, maps and scenarios ranging from super easy and fun to OMG run to your mommy crying cause you ain't worthy... Its all good, don't be scared This is not content to be commented on per-say... To be honest I'm going to use this topic to clean out my library in house. Once it's posted here I may or may not burn to disk and shelf, or simply vaporize. You can download it as offered or not. I will at this moment authorize ANY and ALL maps/scenarios to be used, modified and used, along with any content offered to be used as you wish now and in the future as you wish. If any of my original designs get used and published on NEDESIGNS or other sites, I wish for credit to given where credit is due! simple. Thank you. content to be added soon. Only because I get curious, if you happen to download something, please leave a Like or Upvote or something so I might include more of the same stuff. Also there will be no rhyme or reason as to the order that anything gets posted.

Have you updated to the latest build? Have you tried to use the Auto Launcher that automatically updates you to the latest build? edit... once your updated, Open no longer requires the disks... make sure your paths are correct. let us know

@Deurklink its looking good for shur. the catwalks are a good show of iron, but you need more exposed iron.. roof tops and all over like a maze of iron

there's more that one way to skin a cat. If you work in a group park with no time constraints there are a few ways to build that might work best for you. 1. Your a fast veteran. That's pretty cool 2. You know how to build, but your kinda slow or indecisive as to what to build. That's cool too but typically you start early and finish out after a few rounds. That usually keeps builders from stressing... like your stuff isn't finished and you think it should look better before showing it.. no big deal. Start your plot and work it when you can. 3. You simply claim your plot. Once you boundary your area, it's yours. At that point, you have the map and you can build wherever you want whether you claimed the park or not. NOW, depending if you build above or below ground it can get tricky. But if your all above ground you can transfer all your work as a ride/scenery design that you save from one file to the next. Note: if you build under ground that changes the technique a bit, but can still be done. I like this route sometimes because I can work for days on a build and transfer it in minutes. the other input was good too. edit: keep in mind also there are hot keys to use to add content such as placing a roof piece for example you can pick a roof piece(this works with all content) place your curser over a roof piece or ANY object you want to match the height of, hold down the ctrl key and frome then on, the peice you want to place will match that height and you simply keep holding the ctrl and click away to place at the same height. Don't know if you were aware, just mentioning it. I'm thinking @Deurklink @Broxzier and many others have all the keys on a cheat sheet but I typically don't link to info
