stef084
I see that I'm supposed to report this on "GitHub", but not exactly sure where on the site. would this be considered a "bug" or who do I make this request to help fix it? it says 29c3eba8-7e99-4417-9e2a-a2b47d06c7df(41f026e).dmp Link to comment
imlegos
...you could atleast post both the files here, then one of the forum mods could upload them for the devs to check through. Link to comment

stef084
well it first happened when I went to save the game. now it happens after I click on one of my object editor created backgrounds. I do have a lot of custom objects I made in it. when it first happened it seemed to be around saving the game. OPENRCTZIP.zip Open RCT crash.zip 1 Link to comment

Nubbie
Seems like this issue have been reported before here; https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/3769 It's something being looked at 1 Link to comment
Broxzier
Please provide the exact steps needed to reproduce this bug. I'm not able to crash the game with your description. The issue page that Nubbie linked will be the best place to put this info. 1 Link to comment

I put the info on the linked page as well. the exact steps are 1. click on object selection dropdown under the debug menu 2. select an item or not, doesn't matter 3. close out of the object selection menu 4. as soon as you hit the x to close out of menu the crash dump occurs 1 Link to comment

When your game crashes, does OpenRCT2 ask you to upload the crash dump? And do you click 'Yes' if it does? If so, there isn't much else you can do, unless you know how to reliably trigger the crash (examples: "If I click X, then Y, then Z, the game always crashes" or "If I load this save, it always crashes").
