Funny, I'm watching this now and I'm thinking the speaker is Dutch. Coincidence

    Marcel Vos is Dutch.

As for lateral G, banking turns and slower speeds are two ways to do it. As Marcel has said in his videos.

As BE said, it takes time and practice, I don't play on mobile devices, so I don't know if there are cheats or not.

I also try to use the widest turns I can in many places.

  2. My suggestion, and it should help, is to NOT ask Chat GPT, that is not a human with knowledge of this game, it is a computer generated artificial intellegence. There are really just four places that have potential to help you.

    1. This forum

    2. Discord

    3. Github

    4. Somebody you know, who may be able to help.

This may have sounded rude, but that was not my intention, and I appologise if it does sound rude.

Having said that, you mentioned that you think you downloaded the wrong thing. Did you try just doing the download again but with the right thing ? There are a couple of download managers that do work, but I find one of them better than the other. I just tried to find what the one I use is called, but can't find it.

Hopefully somebody with much better knowledge than me sees you post and can help you better than me. (Hopefully without having to do a complete reinstall).

  3. Wooden coasters have two different types now unfortunately. I can see from the two pics you posted.

the first one is the "Wooden roller coaster" the second one is the "Classic Wooden roller coaster".

It's annoying but that's how it is now. I forget why it's like that though. I think it has to do with the different elements from the two games maybe ?

    Hope this helps.

I do not want and should not have to buy the first game (I lost it VERY long ago), a very old game that no company really cares about anymore, in order to access these very minor features. This is ridiculous.

Someone should create a downloadable pack for all the first game's path and terrain content options, if one does not already exist.

If you dislike the concept of accutally owning the two versions of the game, then why not create this "pack" yourself.

In case you aren't aware, the people who work on the OpenRCT2 project, do it in their own time for no money. They do it because they love this game.

If I'm not mistaken, the download pages or somewhere, advises you that you need both RCT (and it's expansions) and RCT2 (and it's expansions) to access all content.

  5. I'm not sure if you realise, but if you do run the tracks across paths or vise versa, guests do stop like at gates, but staff don't (and don't die either). But the idea of gates from an asthetic view point would be nice.

    Hi everyone,

When I open the app, I keep getting: This app cant run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher.

I have tried to trouble shoot on my own by searching. I do have RCT2! I have the RCTC2 Triple Thrill Pack installed from Steam. I downloaded the 64 bit as that is my laptop. I tried running the program as administrator.

    My processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 185H   2.50 GH. Windows 11. 64 bit operating

    Any idea? Much appreciated!

    Edit:

I've tried the following downloads as well: Windows ARM64 installer, Windows x86 installer, Windows x64 installer

Do you also have RCT 1 ? That's also needed (I think the install help info says that).

As for Dubaifreak's suggestion of compatability mode, that's nothing to download, that is from right-click on the executable that runs the game.

My PC runs it all fine, and has for years, and my specs are waaaaay below yours.

As for the error message specifics, I haven't seen anybody post anything of that issue.

And as for the "Careplan" info, I think you may have posted that in the wrong forum.  :)

    Hope this helps.

  7. Haven't put anything here for a while now.

This "park" has several of my prebuilts in it, and a couple of customs. I can't just post the rides as they go to max height above, and max depth below ground.

As some will know, I'm more about what the title of the game says "Rollercoaster Tycoon", I generally don't bother much with scenery or aesthetics, I just try to build good rides.  :)

Cheats are enabled, and there's no custom scenery, the main cheat I have going is chain lift on any track piece.

The big woody at the back has an excitement rating of nearly 10, but an intensity of 11+ I think.

Well here's the file anyway.  :)

  8. @jfox21117@ryguyoaye, now I understand what you meant. That's normal for a prebuilt ride when you place it on terrain that isn't the same as where you created it.

When I want to use a prebuilt that has pathing, I turn off the parthing in the ride selection, and  add it once I've placed the ride.

It's not a bug or error as such, it's just how the game was originally designed.

It's simple enough to just place the missing path tiles too.

  9. Gday and welcome.

If I understand what you mean, then you're referring to the path supports ? Yes, the game defaults to the black asphalt path and supports (I suspect it's because it's all in alphabetical order), but you can change both the path and supports if they're in your available menu.

  10. Not sure what you're referring to, but I haven't seen this isuue (if I understand what you mean). The only time peeps just sit in the cars is when they're waiting for all cars to be filled. Otherwise, when the race completes, as they arrive at the station, they leave the cars and somebody takes their place. They still have to wait until the cars are full of new drivers, which does depend on how long it takes the winner to do thier victory lap.

If you're talking about queue times, then yes I've had this frequently, even with TVs, so I just shorten the queue line to a bit longer than the number of cars.
