I agree with your mixing idea. The map is divided into four quadrants, but that does NOT mean that we have to divide it into four areas. Each of the quadrants can be divided into several areas.

Just divide the squares into smaller areas.

Just reporting that other people have said this works for them.

Are you using OpenRCT2 on a Mac, or RCT Classic on an iPad or iPhone? Because IIRC iOS usually refers to an iPad or iPhone, and OpenRCT2 isn't on mobile devices yet.

People are reporting that turning off your router, waiting a minute, and turning it back on works to fix this issue.

We discussed plans for starting this park in the last thread, too.

Here is my starter proposal for Group Park 6. Everything in the park is from the original RCT2, to provide for maximum flexibility to where we go with what expansion packs and custom scenery we use. Thanks to @Broxzier for his suggestions for building the new tram system. The OpenRCT2 Forum Group Park 6.sv6 Feel free to claim and work on the terraforming of the park.

I'll do a blank map this weekend with the improved trams mentioned above so we can start on the next Group Park.

Thanks for reporting this! To help the devs, report it on their GitHub site as well!

I believe that there have been two topics on this, but basically Avast's new virus detector thinks that OpenRCT2 behaves like some viruses. I recommend emailing them and complaining about it. In the meantime, you can go into your settings to exempt OpenRCT2.

Besides all of this, I've just checked, and there are plenty of people on the servers.

Unless you're new to the Internet, you should be able to search Google. Always search Google and the site before you ask questions. See my post that I posted above and that you read below for the answer to your open server question (not trying to be mean, but I did post the answer already):

Then try the other open servers I listed if the one you tried doesn't work.

Have you updated OpenRCT2 through the launcher so that it's up to date with the software the servers are running? Because off the top of my head, there are at least four open 24/7 open servers available (Mozar Free4All, ManofTeal SVR_0, New Realism Park, and Mass Destruction).

Since we're approaching the point where this park will be completely filled, I made a map (slightly larger then this one) as a proposal for a starting point for Group Park 6: I've added some custom objects and basic stalls and rides to the objection selection in the park. The only rides in the park are the two trams right now, and some of the stations are incomplete (they need scenery to complete them). I've left the terraforming to other people since I'm bad at that.
