GDL
I have downloaded the latest version of OpenRCT2,but the antivirus says that it has a Trojan virus. However here's link for the Virus Total results: https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/88ecd13940fee3a0dec8dcb234fddacd56e5287efa9d9bb15601a1fc7464f9b0/analysis/1538330485/ Does anyone has this issues as well or it's just me? I'm worried. Note: The problem has already been solved. Thanks for the advices Edited October 2, 2018 by GDL Link to comment
jensj12
This issue (or similar) has popped up many, many times before and there’s nothing we can against it. There’s most likely nothing to worry about, but if you don’t trust it, don’t go online with OpenRCT2 or check and build from source yourself. 1 Link to comment

djwessie
Try Windows Defender. That allows you to install it at your own risk. 1 Link to comment
Gymnasiast
Most AV programs do. They use a better-safe-than-sorry approach, meaning they block stuff they don't trust, even if it's not a virus they know about. It's also why you can whitelist stuff if you trust it. 1 Link to comment
Makhor
It's worth noting that Google Chrome won't let you download any version of OpenRCT2 (portable or installer) because of this. it will give you the "Virus Detected" warning, meaning that you can't download it. I've only tried downloading the windows versions. Even if there is no trojan, this problem should still be looked at for the sake of convenience. 1 Link to comment
Broxzier
If you know how to avoid virus scanners from detecting our software as a virus, please enlighten us. There's not much we can do, other than contacting the companies and asking for an exception. 1 Link to comment
