  1. @Dexty111 I think you got a little confused, this is OpenRCT2 forum, not malwarebytes or Windows defender one.
  2. Yes, it will work. See https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/wiki/Installation-on-Linux-and-macOS
  3. You'll need to backport icu>=59 first, then use that to build OpenRCT2.
  4. We do have a changelog…
  5. https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/5336
  6. There are shortcomings in your tutorial. There are two types of corrupt elements, one that only affects next the element and one that affects all subsequent tile elements. You did not mention the `ride set type` command. (The exact command may have been slightly different, don't remember it exactly right now).

  8. On server side, the username is tied to sha1sum of your pubkey. To makes sure it changes, either modify the entry in users.json of you have access to it or change your key.
  9. Just add your currency yourself
  10. Depends on what you want. It allows using more than 10k sprites. Right now OpenRCT2 sports being hosted off of the Classic's assets, that should include mobile versions of it too.
  11. config.ini is created in openrct-data-path, by default it's ~/.config/OpenRCT2 Just copy the output and post it on hastebin or some such.
  12. You can also post logs and your configuration, so we can inspect it.
  13. Manually change the renderer in config.ini to "SOFTWARE", or if you delete said file, it will get recreated with default values upon launch.
  14. It should copy the list of missing objects to your primary clipboard. If for any reason it doesn't, they will still be reported on stderr, where you can copy the names from.
  15. If you were, you would have posted logs.
  16. Does it happen on c9b5ec4172668781f5b4cf7d2862e08cda27e290 too?

    openrct3?

Can someone please lock down this thread already?
  20. Sounds like you need to symlink the data dir into your build dir. mkdir build cmake .. make ln -s ../data make g2 cp g2.dat data/ ./openrct2
  21. That'd be (mostly) me. You can witness the historical moment of second ever launch of native Linux version, which at the time was less than half disassembled and used parts of code from original Windows' PE32 binary here: i was still giddy with excitement that the crazy idea I had actually worked. There are also episodes of podcast that the team did, I'm in one of them, if you want to know how it came to be: OpenRCT2 Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0YvVAW9aoL0jq8XIDee0gS99iLYje3lT OpenRCT2 took me places.
