Gymnasiast: Perhaps it would be useful to include the location of the autosave folder, as I (and I assume other new people) don't know where that is; it's not in the openrct2 directory.
It is right there in the screenshot that you posted...
Anyway, we identified some bugs in the window in question, and a solution should follow soon (assuming you are hit by the same problem, obviously).
> QUICK EDIT: Apparently I was on the dev branch?? Why is this default??
There is no default, when you download the game you pick one (release or develop) yourself. Of course, this does not apply if you use the Launcher, but that is an unofficial community project. Nevertheless, in general develop is very stable, sometimes even more than release, so in general it shouldn’t cause any problems.

This is a known limitation of the code that determines whether a ride is covered. The bug was logged into our tracker here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/5408

This is a bug. A fix is pending here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/16616

This bug has recently been fixed. Please update to the latest develop.

Do you always click ‘Yes’ in that dialog? I can find two crashes with your Windows username, would have expected there to be more if it happens this frequently.
Additionally, could you try installing the v03.5.1 release build (as you’re currently on develop) and see if that makes the crashes go away?
-
This is not caused by missing *.pob files. All that will do is cause some objects to be transparent.
Can you try turning on the option to allow loading files with invalid checksums and see if that solves your problem?

Does this happen in every save, or just this one? Could you upload the save?
-
Either that, or you didn’t remove your Documents folder and OpenRCT2 simply used the existing configuration.
-
We will need to know your OpenRCT2 build hash. You can find it in the “About OpenRCT2” window, where there is also a button to copy the version string.

We pushed a fix for an issue in this area yesterday, could you both verify you’re on build `7fff8fa` and try again?
-
You can buy it on Steam. That site/store is safe. We are not going to recommend any way to obtain it illegally.
Additionally, I would very much recommend against getting RollerCoaster Tycoon World. It’s shit. If you want a game that is more modern than OpenRCT2, I would recommend Planet Coaster or Parkitect (the former is more scenery and graphics-oriented, the latter more gameplay-oriented).

Hi Erik-Jan, could you create a pull request for that fix?

Hoi Erik-Jan,
Thanks for your work. Could you create pull requests for your fixes and features? We are on GitHub: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pulls
It’s probably best to start with the fixes.

Which version of OpenRCT2 did you download? (Will need both version number and whether it’s a release or a develop version.)
-
Thanks, pushed a fix. Should be in a develop build tomorrow.

You’re not providing much information - not even stuff like your operating system and its version, as well as the version of OpenRCT2 you’re running.
The only thing I can guess is that you enabled OpenGL mode while your hardware cannot handle it. To fix this, you need to manually edit your config.ini file, or rename/remove it. If you’re using Windows, you can find it at Documents\OpenRCT2\config.ini.
-
You picked the location of a shortcut to RCT2, but not the actual location.
Since you use a GOG install, it’s likely to be in a subfolder of C:\GOG Games or C:\Program Files\GalaxyClient or something similar.

It sometimes takes more time for the Windows build to come online. Generally, it should appear within an hour.

I know this is a WIP, but do you have another copy of Mama Bear's Frontierland? I tried downloading the scenario, and got an error message (as if the file is corrupted.)
Many thanks for all of this hard work recreating the site!
Could you tell me which page you tried downloading it from? I know you already obtained the scenario, but I’d like to fix my reconstruction of RCT*Mart as well
-
You should be able to download that here: https://rctmart.rctspace.com/downloads/wizardofoz.php
(This is my reconstruction of RCT*Mart, but it’s still in development.)

It sometimes takes a while for a new build to become available. Generally, waiting until a later moment (e.g. a few hours) tends to solve the problem.
-
OpenRCT2 generates a key for you that can be used to prevent others from impersonating you. Did you change your username?
-
We will need to know your version and build. You can find it in the “About OpenRCT2” window, where there is also a button to copy the version string.
Additionally, does this *only* occur with parks with custom scenery? Does saving regular parks (e.g. Crazy Castle) work?
-
The GOG version can be extracted by the game itself (provided innoextract is installed, which is included with the flatpak builds). Also, until pushing Proton, it was very involved to install Windows-only games on Steam under Linux, requiring one to start up Steam in console mode and issue several commands.
Feel free to open pull requests to update other information on the website.

@spacemtfanPlease create your own help topic, and make sure to report your build hash (see the About OpenRCT2 window) and include your save.
