  1. The update Rune was talking about was merged an hour after he posted. So if you update OpenRCT2 now it should work.As for the cause: OpenRCT2 recently added the capability to translate strings in .DAT files. There was a memory problem in that code however, and Dutch is the only language that extensively uses the new translation capabilities. So it wasn't an error in the Dutch translation, but an error in the new translation capabilities. However, it should be fixed now. Please try it again and report the results.EDIT: Wait, the forum clock is two hours behind. Anyway, try updating to the latest versions and see if it helps.

  2. Please put a bit more effort into your posts, they are hard to read and make sense of at times.Don't expect multiple types of park entrance in one game to be implemented soon, if at all. It might be a possibility when we switch to our own formats, but that will take a lot of time still.Regarding conversion of existing .DAT files: when OpenRCT2 switches to its own formats, it will either retain the capability to read old .DAT files or include a conversion tool.

  3. Imlegos, your edit has an aggressive tone, please stay civil.Making the background of the news ticker pitch black rather than dark(ish) grey might be possible, though I haven't actually checked the code. It would be preferable to add this to the Themes options as well.As for the edge drawing: that seems to be down to how RCT2 draws its windows. If you compare RCT1 and RCT2 you will see that RCT1 windows have clearly visible edges while RCT2's haven't.

  4. Yes, but if you want to do it in a cleaner way, you can just use 8 cars per trainer in RCT2.OpenRCT2 has a cheat to disable support limits built-in. You have to enable the Cheats button in the toolbar to access it though.

  5. (1) Cannot reproduce. Could you give more information, like the actual track type, and a screenshot if that helps?Actually, I can. I'll look into it.(2) Thanks, I'm going to fix or report it.(3) We're aware of that. It is the reason why the intro is disabled by default. It hasn't been working properly since the inception of the project, really. It can't handle resizes of the window very well either.

  6. Merging is a hacky process and requires intermediate to advanced knowledge about the game. It's most often done with the unmodified RCT2 and 8 cars per trainer. It's not something you usually start with when you enter the (wonderful) world of RCT(2) hacking.Currently there are some issues with ghost pieces being created when doing merging in OpenRCT2. OpenRCT2 might gain a bit better support for merging if I get the time, though there are plenty of things with higher priorities on my list. Two things are already here: OpenRCT2 doesn't set the reliability of hacked rides to 0% (anti-cheat code in RCT2) and has built-in support for zero clearance: it's in the Cheats button dropdown. (If you don't see a Cheats button on your top toolbar, you have to enable it in the settings.)

  7. [Ik bepaal zelf wel hoe ik je noem... :P]Anyway, welcome. Rune already pointed to the dev chat. There are plenty of bugs to work on, and we can always use extra developers, particularly now both the main devs (IntelOrca and Duncanspumpkin) are busy with other things and a lot less active. I'm the third developer in terms of commits, but I'm still busy getting anywhere near their level.

  8. 15 seems to be the limit, you will get hardly anyone (if anyone at all) to ride your roller coaster if you go beyond that. In most scenarios between rides with an intensity rating between 13 and 15 will also attract far fewer guests. Here is a tip: every guest has a preferred ride intensity. You can see it on the second tab of a guest's window. For example, if a guest has a preferred ride intensity of between 2 and 8, he will only queue for rides with according intensity ratings, so he won't queue for gentle rides and the more intense roller coasters.
