Help! I can't save my game. It says ''Game save failed''

No matter what I do, I can't seem to save my park. Even autosave doesn't work. What can I do?

Do all parks fail to save or is it one specific park? If it's just one park, do you know anything odd with it (maybe share an earlier save)? Does it work when you save it as a new file?

If it's all parks, check whether OpenRCT2 has permission to write in that location. If that doesn't help, try temporarily disabling your virusscanner (turn it back on asap afterwards) to see if that caused issues.

Before I forget, also include the version of OpenRCT2 you're using (in the about-window).

Most likely, it is your AV’s ransomware protection interfering. Microsoft’s Windows Defender is known to do this on occasion (but it won’t be the only one!). The solution is to whitelist OpenRCT2 in your AV’s settings.

I am using MacOS with the newest development build and this issue occurs randomly for me.
