I agree. I one square creek might just get covered with scenery though? Or what about adding a small dry wash inlet at the northeast side of the lake with water oozing into it, and (1) or maybe (2) small dry wash spot with little ponds representing where the water is coming from? idk...

Looks great! Agree on that... I had that same thought when I formed the initial mountains and wanted to drain to the lake but the preliminary idea was to keep the water to a minimum. I was even leery of adding the 2 waterfalls because of it and decided to implement the dry wash so the water would stay minimal. Since I live in the desert, runoff disappearing into dry washes are very common.

Stoping Guests From Complaining In Line
SpiffyJack replied to SleetFire's topic in General Discussion
Typically in my queues, I use an 80 percent of total ride capacity ratio up to 100 peeps per ride. (11-12 queue blocks per 80 peeps) All rides exceeding 100 peeps I use a 100 percent queue length. This is because if the ride is a top favorite, you get many exiting return peeps that immediately refill the queue again. Some peeps will not be immediate returns if queue line had a long wait the first time they entered and the queue line needs to handle the returning surges of peeps as well as the new peeps that you don't not want to discourage because the queue was full.... Also I use the monitors and run my long queue lines through a feature of the ride so they can watch. One other scenario that seems to work lately is when a queue line runs adjacent to (lets say a splash tank or a rides picture area) the peeps seem to dig it. Just my opinion. -

Map is looking good. As far as Additional terraforming for the remaining areas, My thought is, I could see most of those areas getting finished up with future building.

That is correct. Also Orange County Fair Grounds, Pacific Amphitheater... My old stomping grounds

Haahaa @imlegos I know right!?! Short hand I guess... every time (all the time) I type 'queue' ... it auto changes to 'Que' ... so I at this point, the heck with it! btw.. America here.. maybe that's why lol

I would also like to be added the Park Building Que please.

Can this off-topic get its own post? I'd like to keep getting input and more out of this topic and obviously don't want to clutter this thread.

- Reduced water - Reduced Sand Area - Added Dune Area - Added scenery at Water Falls - Extended Mountains - Removed Initial Entrance Location - Added Large Trees just for fun I thought about adding rapids track at bottom of falls but I think that would affect ride/attraction count? Is there a technique I don't know about? this is SICK! I LOVE IT! the curvature is spot on and not easy.

@Broxzier I claimed to apply some suggestions and fix some of my stuff too.... Agree on the entrance for sure, I'm not going to address the entrance because you and others are better at that than me. And @YoloSweggLord nice smoothing, I may only open a few areas for access through the terrain. @Broxzier Agreed on mountain stretching. Stretch green or brown mountains or both?

I recently developed a working parking lot/drop off area. I used mouse (flat track design of any will work) But cars actually drive through parking with a drop zone close to entrance of park. So when cars approached drop zone I placed brakes to halt vehicle, then they move on. Invisible track and zero clearance was used to complete the illusion. Now I'm in the process designing a set of car types to roam the track to complete the effect... Next step(I used) is to use blocking scenery to (hide) the fact that peeps are entering the park from the cars when actually they are not.

@Broxzier @Wuis the forest fire was intense, needed a lil bit more water to put it out...lol. I agree with your thoughts though.. I just defined the areas to get various trains of thought flowing moving forward. Typically I like to hand draw the map schematics, get feed back, then just claim an area that fits your style to produce and run with it. Feedback is always a plus.

@Foxy LOL... have no fear... I reject my own stuff all the time ... usually after 5-6 hours of 'what started out good'but then I'll over build.. I'm sure most have done it too .. I'm uploading in a few minutes, after I finish my glass of wine. idk...I would guess just load what you want to use, then unload before you pass off the file and the pieces you use will stay in misc. (?) @Broxzier

Agreed. Always easier to add the erosion and flow than to go through the work and it gets rejected

CRITIQUE TIME: pic 1 - Original map with scenery stripped. pic 2 - simple mountain location pic 3 - mountains location (water fall(s) to dry river - river bed to remain dry?), dry river bed?, sand/dunes area? Arial map pic 4 - Entrance location pic 5&6 - Height profiles Edited: pic 7 - What I'm thinking? pic 8 - Extended sand area? Taking a break for a bit. All areas(pics) are prelim and separate files. So at this point ALL feedback is WELCOME... you can't hurt my feelings so whats on your mind. Thanks @Broxzier and ALL OTHERS TOO

Bingo! thanks @imlegos ... memory jog

If Anyone has suggestions, I may be able to implement some initially... I will be posting screenshots later today so you can see where I'm at, but you don't have to wait for the first shot to suggest.

@Broxzier ... @imlegos why do random files like the one attached open with no tools/options, drop down menus etc? ... cant even close the file without bailing out of OpenRCT... doesn't happen often but it happens. been wanting that answer for a while.. Never mind.. question answered (I think). I had multiple (2) instances of program running. Although I was able to open other files and still get all access to functions with multiple instances, so I still asking the question if there is other possibilities. FYI - I was still able to access the Console and hide it. The OpenRCT Group Park 4.sc6

@Broxzier I am claiming Landscape right now.
