  1. There has been some works on the peep pathfinding, but as you can see in commit #1698, he is moving so can't work on it right now. I'm sure another dev will pick up where he left of and the problem will be fixed soon enough. If you don't like it, try playing with the stable channel :)
  2. The original file is already on Github (see the first link in Gymniast's post). There are however a lot of untranslated new strings, or badly translated old string. If you speak Portuguese-Brazilian (or any other 'foreign' language), please feel free to help translating the project.
  3. All RCT1 functions can (and probably will) be brought 'back' to OpenRCT2. Some devs are almost exclusively working on RCT1 functions.
  4. This is already in being worked on (well not at this moment, but it will be in the future ;) )Also dragging for paths and stuff :D
  5. Yes, 3th party: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-party_software_component :p
  6. Thanks! If you have any ideas for the website or the game, let us know! Also, I changed the headerbutton to Forum (instead of Community). It said community because there used to be a chatbox. (The chatbox still exists, but has moved to a 3th party: https://gitter.im/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/non-dev )

    Shadowcasting

This is not possible due to the nature RCT2 works. It's not really 3D, it's more 2.5D, which makes it unpossible to generate 'custom' shadows.
  8. It is possible this was a bug in one of the builds. Could you try again and report if it is still happens?
  9. Could you try uninstalling the launcher (through the config panel) and redownloading and rerunning it?
  10. Hmm weird... Is the game installed in it's default directory? (could you give me the path of rct2.exe?) Also, when exactly do you get which error. Could you upload a screenshot?
  11. Have you ran the original game at least once?
  12. I don't know how much is reversed, but it is also hard to tell. One function is not the same as another function. You might do 10 in the same time as 1 other, if you know what I mean. The game can indeed be compiled to any (or most) platforms which allows games and applications written in C. The Raspberry Pi, but also Android and maybe even iOs. Those last two would need a special version enhanced for touch devices. But again, almost everything is possible! Even in-browser (HTML5 & javascript) The only problem with those platforms is the fact that we would need our own assets to do that. (except for the rPi since you can just copy your data files onto the SD card)Lots of possibilities for the future!
  13. Yes, but you do still need wine at the moment because the game isn't fully reversed yet. The last time I checked, wine doesn't work on rpi.
  14. Yes, I was planning on trying to make this happen as soon as the game is completely rewritten into the new code (so it doesn't need the original rct2.exe anymore). It should then run natively on Linux.
  15. [yt]sG8-vsZfQOQ[/yt]2nd episode of the OpenRCT2 Podcast, where we talk about the project, it's progress, new features, the future and do some live q&a. Featuring IntelOrca (project lead), Duncanspumpkin and GymnasiastOriginal link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG8-vsZfQOQ
  16. Where did you get the original game? CD? Steam? Gog?
  17. At The moment you cannot upload saved games, but I might make a launcher for Linux in the future. But I'm on vacation right now :D
  18. At the moment OpenRCT2 uses the original file formats, and it should be able to do so as long as nothing huge has changed (for example, more than 128 selected rides). As soon as that is possible, OpenRCT2 will have to switch to it's own file format, hence not runnable in the original game.Importing of RCT1 and RCT2 scenarios, saved games and tracks should be possible in the future.
  19. This will be able (just like all limits) after full decompilation. This can still take a while ;)
  20. I've added it to the content store.https://openrct.net/content/397/Barn+Stormers
  21. I don't think this is a bug, but just a precausion of the game to make sure there's always a path leading to the entrance.Anyway, I've made an issue on Github. You can track it here: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/1461
  22. At this moment, there have been successfull tests already where two people were able to build the same park.A good multiplayer imo would be like Simcity 5 does it.
  23. If you use the launcher, installing happens automatically! :)And someone was looking into integrating downloads into the game, so maybe you won't have to use the launcher in The future.
  24. Hi welcome SnowMew!Personally I kinda gave up on RCT World, but I am looking forward to Theme Parkitect :D
