  1. You can ask me why I have simply disappeared from this site, and I couldn't answer you 100%. Some may remember me, some may have missed me, some, not so much. To simply state that I dis--okay no, none of that lol.

I've been so busy in recent months that some sites have dropped off my radar. I've been checking ORCT2 forums for who knows how long, but not been active like in prior months; but, I have a theory, if I don't skip out on ORCT2 forums, I'll be active again. Okay, no, but my goal is to become active, aka, make time for ORCT2 and this forums.

I am mundo glad  to be coming back in near days if not today.

I've got some pretty decent projects in the works! Be on the lookout for updates! I'll be excited to see all the familiar and new faces! I'm back!

If you have any questions or comments, do let me know!

    See ya soon!

  2. Very very impressive first showing! I'm liking where this is going! I see that it'll be very detailed.

On another note: This, by wild chance, is very similar to my most recent scenario released dubbed 'Biome Quarters.' http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/16205 <<< Here's to look at it or download.

I find it interesting that they're pretty dern similar.

Anyways, again, great job! I'll be looking to download this when finished!

  3. While this is a good idea, and I support it, it'd be overly hard to do and it would only prove such a simple detail, (say, a minor ponytail) would be frankly, unnoticable.

I guess our guests are gender neutral then. -sobs quietly-

  4. I figured it would. I've seen the moving water objects, but never have I seen anything regarding more terra-painting tiles. While it would be a cool thing to have, I don't see it happening for a long time.

I've got a question. When do you all see OpenRCT2 coming to completion? Do you think it will ever end?

  5. I'm no computer genius, or game developer. Sounds like wayyy too much work. Although, it'd be so cool to see. An alternitive I see is custom scenery.

I've been thinking, I have another feature (that might actually work given enough work).

I've always wanted to have more options for terra-painting. (Tile colours). I'm sure several people have wished for a rock/snow paint option, a grass/snow option, snow/mud, and tiles that have three or more components. I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement, but it would be cool nevertheless.

  6. I like a few of these! Reminds me of the days when I was brand new at this. Ohh....yesterday? Some that stand out particularly:  Vertimania, Tailhappy, Shuttle Loop, King's Cobra, and Flash Flood. These few I mentioned have quite a bit of charm to them. I'm not saying that all the others have no charm, they only seem simple and just something you'd toss in the corner of a park and forget about. However, most of them are well themed, although simplisticly. The few I named out are well-themed and remind me of the good ole' days!

My favourite of this mixture is Tailhappy. Absolutely brilliant! Never thought of that. King's Cobra would be second.

Now, you've gotten 3.14 million percent better over the years. (Hello there, Pi, my old nemesis). What sets you apart is your knack for making incredible custom coasters and tracked rides for OpenRCT2 and RCT2. From my backround of RCT2, I never liked using any custom ride/scenery (and still not scenery, if ever). Once I did start using custom rides, I was hooked and tried to post some scenarios and downloads with various objects in it. This is one reason why I love OpenRCT2 so damned much, I would likely not have found any of your downloads until much later, @X7123M3-256. After finding them in April, I've loved every. single. custom ride you have posted. Enough so, that I've implemented them in some of my more recent scenarios, and in my mega park. They are absolutely perfect. I find no issues with any of the downloads.

I think we all agree that @X7123M3-256 deserves more attention than he's gotten. He is bloody awesome! His plethora of works are amazing! Bravo!

  7. I'm going to back you up here. I've been in ManOfTeal for, three, four days? In those four days, I've had a ton of fun. I met a lot of familiar faces and players I don't even know. It, to me, has enough potential to become a staple of the OpenRCT2 community.

I might have only been here four days, but it is four days I won't forget.

Some of you, may be up in arms about this thread being posted, I get that. I was skeptical too. However, once you see how much of a passion/community Man Of Teal has, you won't regret it

I've watched Man Of Teal from a distance without ever joining. Now I feel stupid that I never joined until now. It's a lot of fun, and a great way to meet new people as well as build fantastic rides, or just simple, RCT1-esque rides.

Just in four days, I've made a lot of progress I feel in this little "sim" world. I do feel like Man of Teal is getting better each and every day. The amount of growth Newton has received in the last few weeks is exponential. On discord, there's around 60 people in the server group. You cannot tell me that there is not one person in that group that you cannot connect with.

Anyways, if you've been thinking about joining Man Of Teal, and haven't yet, do it! You won't regret it!

  8. Now, I'm currently unsure whether this has been patched or not, but it is pretty severe. The most recent build I have ( 6b4def9156ca7b5a00b88c490c54d30cc95c54ef) (posted one day ago) has got a bug in it where certain saves of your game/scenario will not load, regardless if it has valid data (all of it) or not. However, auto saves for some reason, will load.

Unfortunately, if you're not using autosaves, any progress you have made will be lost, should this bug arise. Fortunately, in my case, I had autosaves on so my hours of work are not lost.

Like I said at the beginning, I have no idea if this has been interpreted/discovered and/or put as an issue over to the devs, however, this can be game breaking if not fixed.

I'll do some more testing on newer builds in-case this is still a factor for the most recent build. Any tips or comments are appreciated as well.
