NightHawk
So, It was always annoying on some instances, that lifthills will power trains up again if they roll back. For example, this is a recreation of a common japanese Shuttle-Coaster wich will not work in RCT2 as of yet because of this perticular Problem. The train will be stuck forever moving back and forwards o top of the lift. This would ESPECIALLY be helpfull on coasters like Kingda-Ka, so trains wouldn't be stuck after not making it over the top but rather move back into the station / brakerun again. Or launch coasters with multiple launches till they make it over the top (like Skyscream @ Holiday Park, Germany) Another suggestion: A forwards starting Shuttle Mode. Wich will drop trains once they reach the lifthill top moving FORWARDS out of the station, rather than backwards. Edited February 1, 2016 by NightHawk Link to comment

I'd say this mode should be called 'Launch Shuttle (Forward-Incline),' based on the mode 'Launched Shuttle (Reverse-Incline)' Link to comment
jensj12
Enabling lifthill rollback disables crucial safety systems. If we did that we have to make a new breakdown (chainlift broken) where trains would fall back immediatly if these safety systems were disabled (probably even add that to safety cut-out with a 10% chance). Still, I'd love to see that option, though just forward incline shuttle mode and rct1-like boosts would be enough too. Link to comment
imlegos
I got the mode wrong btw, it's actually 'Reverse lift hill launched shuttle,' which would mean the respective should be 'Forward lift hill launched shuttle' Link to comment
