g1.dat is missing

When I try to launch OpenRCT2 it says i need files from the original game when i go click my Data file and Next it says it could not find g1.dat

I don't have a map named  Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, only RCT open.

How do I get a map Roller Coaster Tycoon 2?

I have the CD but my latop don't have a CD reader.

You need to get the RCT2 (not OpenRCT2) files on your computer somehow. If you know someone who does have a CD reader, you can copy the files over from there. If not, you either have to buy a CD reader yourself or buy RCT2 from Steam.

OpenRCT2 needs the RCT2 assets to run. You can either transfer the files across from a machine that does have a CD reader, or download the demo version and use that instead.
