TwingyTwingy
Hi, Since today i can't remove any landscape with the tool. Also i can't place any roofs on the ground. Can't reproduce it on other savegames then the one i attach. Could someone please check for me what is happening? Edited January 7, 2018 by TwingyTwingy Link to comment
Deurklink
You should enable exporting plug-in objects and then save your park again, else we cannot open it unless we have all the custom scenery in your park. Link to comment
TwingyTwingy
Oops, sorry! Here's a new try Efteling Pleasure City.sv6 Link to comment
Deurklink
Hmm, strange indeed. I suggest opening an issue on our issue tracker: https://openrct2.org/forums/forum/20-issue-tracker/ There, the developers may be able to help you. Link to comment
Broxzier
Somehow you managed to set the park size to -1. Do you remember what you did before this happened? I've attached a file with the map size fixed, but am curious to know how this happened. Efteling Pleasure City.sv6 Link to comment
rctmike
I had this happen to me too, I know I didn't intentionally set it to -1. It was displaying 254x254 in the sandbox editor, down once and back up and it's back at 254 and I can modify landscape again! I updated from a much older version of openRCT around the same time as I imported a bunch of tracks and scenarios. I figured it was a bug from a heavily cheated park in a new version with new cheats and options, but now I wonder if an older version had 255x255 options in the scenario editor and the new version does not? I don't recall the exact version I was on, but my last saves were from October 2016 if that helps. You can't place some scenery with this bug active, either. It took me a good minute to isolate that issue to my save, not my imported tracks!!! Link to comment
TwingyTwingy
Hello, from what i can remember i was using the sandbox tool to own the edges of the map. At the Railway there where some unowned pieces. After that i stopped playing. Next time this happened. Link to comment

RCT2 and older versions of OpenRCT2 display the technical size of the map. But since the map is surrounded by a ring of invisible tiles, this means that the usable area is two blocks smaller. So what RCT2 calls 256 x 256, OpenRCT2 calls 254 x 254, because that's the visible and usable area. Link to comment
rctmike
That makes sense, my save or scenario must be from an old version of Openrct2. So no bug, just a slight user fixable save incompatibility! Link to comment
